Thank you for this. Although I have an A-1 and I have had it for years the last few weeks I have struggled with my timing. It was comforting to find this video and close enough for it to make and let me know I am not crazy. I have already ordered the timing gage because I am sure it will work on mine too. This was the only video I could find about timing a longarm, and I appreciate it.

Andrew thanks!!! It is blurry but I can see enough to be able to make this work. I am so glad to find this video, I was just about to call you. One of the most important things to me when I buy any sewing machine is service. You rock!!

Hi Andrew, I have a Vision 28. My bobbin case keeps popping out when attempting to stitch.......is this a timing issue then?? Frustrated in ATL.........

Hi Beth, hard to say for sure what is happening but I am suspecting you have gotten ahold of counterfeit bobbin or bobbin case inadvertantly. Another thing to check is if there's any fuzz built up at the base of the bobbin case locking pin ( the one the bobbin case slides onto).

Thank you! I purchased 3 bobbin cases from a dealer and have tried all of those with same problem! Would hope they are genuine..... ugh have changed bobbins, cases, needles, etc..... thanks anyway for your tips! I will check the locking pin as well. Again, thank you.

Andrew, thank you for this information. I looking is purchasing a Gammil Statler, and would like to know if the timing goes wacky often or how often in these Gammil machines?
Thank you in advance for your reply,
    Jasmine

Hi Jasmine, that's like asking how often do you have to take your car into the body shop to have dents fixed. If you drive carefully and normally, you never need to fix timing. But if you crash the machine into stuff or let it sew into metal or something, it can knock the machine adjustment out of whack. Experienced quilters and those with good training seldom have a crash. That's a good question, thank you!
