I am going through this right now! An upcoming artist who has been in the singing business for a while, wants me to be his personal musician but doesn't want to pay me what I'm worth. I have already accommodated him many times for modest fees thinking he would appreciate that. I was wrong and so you have to pray & verify. God blessed me even though I got no credit for all the arranging and playing that I did for the artist. I'm okay because the lessons learned were blessing within themselves so I still felt joy from the entire experience. Stay true!😁
I hear you! Now I’m definitely not advocating for anyone to take advantage of you…. If you decide to donate your time, that is one thing, but if not, that’s a completely different thing. Definitely have the conversation with the artist!

Hey Corey, this is completely unrelated but do you ever use MINOR13 chords? Are they ever used because fullest minor chord I see used is the 11?
It’s all good. Those are some of my favorite minor chords to play. I actually prefer minor 13/minor 6 sound over minor 7…
