By the way, @2:15 I totally squirrelled on why I am giving it the Koenig Hurricane name. For those that watched Robotech, you will see a resemblance in the barrel setup of the main gun which looks like the Koenig Monster. Also Star Blazers Battle Ship Yamato played a little bit of a roll in the rear turret setup. The Hurricane part just came from....well thunder is a small part of the overall storm that you are fixing to be in the middle of and Hurricane is a much better offensive name...lol
A pedantic bit of nit-pickery, in Robotech (or more properly, Super Dimension Fortress Macross), there is the HWR-00-Mk II Monster M.A.C. II. destroid, while the VB-6 König Monster variable bomber was first featured in the Macross Digital Mission VF-X 2 video game, then later in the Macross Frontier animated series.
That’s a beautiful collection. I’ve been struggling to make sense of mine, and it sort of put a smile on my face when hardcore collectors make sense of theirs, even coming from strangers I’ve never met. Really cool.
You design and build it, you get to name it whatever you want. Helluva build! I still have the original and so this a great variation amped up to 1:12 scale. I like the idea of switching gunners seats for SMS pods, also the fully armored pilot's enclosures. I don't think the feasibility of mass-producing of this will ever justify marketing it but the fact that there exists one of these is enough to inspire hundreds of fans.
My exact words out of my mouth after you gave the size: JESUS! That is MASSIVE and MAGNIFICENT! Honest and sincere; you are a mad genius for this stuff my friend. I can only IMAGINE the fun and size of these playsets for my 1:6… Trouble Bubbles, HISS tanks, Whales… I think I blew a circuit…🤣🤣🤣✌️🤘🇨🇦
With Hasbro not putting out vehicles in the Classified scale due to cost, I wonder if they ever thought of selling parts for collectors to build their own? Basic pieces you buy and a selection of add ons for you to put together, customize, paint, etc,.,kinda like functional model kits. Like the VAMP base could be used to make the Stinger and the Thunder Machine..,if they let the customer buy accessories and do all the finish work, it would keep costs down and give us some nice vehicles for the Classified line, like this work of art you made! Awesome!👍
Man this is INCREDIBLE and at 1300 bucks totally worth it. If I had the room I'd save up in a heartbeat for this because it can carry up to 14 Classifieds figures?!
I use to have the Rolling Thunder as a kid and it was awesome. The one thing that came to my mind years later is the fact they made a toy with two nuke missiles on it. lol. This thing could destroy countries. They made he best toys back then.
Your 3D printed vehicles has me in awe, I love them, I went out and bought a 3D printer myself and I just can't do it, can you or somebody please help me? I don't know what I'm doing, anyway your collation is great, for the past 3 years I've been into nothing but Gi Joe's, I'm only missing a select few of them, I love the way you have everything set up, and I love your videos, thank you so much for the entertainment, keep them coming.
Thank you and appreciate it! My best recommendation is youtube training! Try to find someone on here with your specific printer and or slicer and try to learn from them. I did many months of of just watching peoples walk throughs on both so that I could grasp how 3d printing worked. Try Teaching Tech, Uncle Jessy, 3d printing nerd and modbot.
AH!!! Yes! I've seen your posts on Facebook, but I loved this video. That thing is awesome! Your COBRA Warehouse diorama is also amazing. Thank you for sharing!!
Wow, i wish Hasbro could hire you out to make playsets. This is another amazing piece of art. Are you going to place this up for sale on your page? Again WOW.
Wow man that's beautiful. Haslab take my money! Although they couldn't put such detail in theirs or it would cost $1k+. Amazing collection you have there.
As I mentioned before if you have not done so already, I am sure if you sold the hatch cover for the OG scale version some people would be very appreciative of that as an accessory to have. I also would speculate that if anyone picked up an incomplete one they might take an interest in other scaled down pieces too.
Well done, sir! What a behemoth of a vehicle! If you could’ve smoothed out all the 3D print lines, this would be the definitive modern Rolling Thunder! Maybe Lenny from the GI JOE brand will see this and Hasbro will approve it for the Haslab treatment. I know Lenny said that he wanted to make one.
About what RCS really are size wise you would die. I've got part of one that somebody threw out where it's missing the body and it's the size of a Power Wheels ATV I'm not joking a child could sit on it. I have a relative who has even bigger RC Monster Trucks that are almost the size of a Power Wheels monster truck child's toy so I wouldn't go saying something about it's too big LOL I'm scared to ask how much would one of these cost if somebody wanted to buy one?
@@peterparker6584 Indeed, the cost is already restrictive enough. To put electrics into this as a 3d printed vehicle would put it into the 2000 territory and no one would want to pay that for a printed item just because it has electrics. There is also something to be said about an actually from the ground up build RC as they are pretty damn sturdy. This is not that item with the nature of 3d printed items. Heavy, gangly and not easy to move around or relocate that would require a bed of a pickup truck to move around...lol I am not saying it cant be done, I am saying its excessive for what the item is.
@@pixisdesigns761 I hadn't gotten that far along in the video about the price LOL. When I mentioned about the remote control part was when you were talking about nobody wants a remote control vehicle that big. And I was literally pointing out that there are remote control vehicles out there that are the size of a go-kart or Power Wheels vehicle. I only found out a few years ago and didn't know they made them that big either

it would look funner if it had a lot of blue zinc plated screwz in the assembly

You could put the Night Raven on the Thunder Roller. If you take the back turret off it would fit quite nicely on the landing pad.
Amazing stuff!
Wow, that must have taken forever to design and print! Crazy awesome good work!

Yeah, I can see that but I would need to procure one on the cheap as.....I just dont have the space for a small Rolling Thunder...lol
Too cool...it could be a mobile command center too with a few adjustments
That would have made more sense if Hasbro did that for the 3.75 inch collection
Pixis you are awesome 💯
It’s massive and I would order one!!!😊
I'm right here if you want one!
That looks awesome!
Awesome thanks for sharing
Very cool, not a toy I had as a kid, so I didn’t really appreciate it. But seeing what you’ve done with it and the improvements, awesome.
Wow, 4 Hiss Tanks? This 3D design Business must sure be extremely lucrative!!
good job. Hi from France, Yo Joe

Wow, that Rolling Thunder is a thing of beauty!!! Well done! Would you consider selling the models to print/build on our own?
No, I only sell finished goods on items like these.
Phenominal.
Love too get one,nice
Making the Rhino would be awesome can't wait to see it happen!
I don’t know what you do for a living but we would all be fortunate and the toy line would be better if Hasbro would just hire you!
Out fuckin standing!👏👏💪
Amazing work my bratha. If I had space and money and the wife let me I would definitely buy it
Would love to see a version at 1/60 scale so I can use it with my diaclone!
Awesome I want one!
And I will sell you one. 8p
The ambition is SPECTACULARLY UNDENIABLE!
also, if you do the Warthog, please make it float somehow like the OG version did.
@@teslasuperdestinations That just adds a whole new other level of complexity but it does not hurt to look into it!
Fantastic work! Where did you get those Lights in the Rolling Thunder btw?
Amazon, just look for Drone lights.
This is incredible. How much will you be selling this for?
You look familiar. I bet I have run into you before in central Arkansas during toy hunts.
Probably but I have been out of that scene for a good 10-15 years. BBTS takes care of all my needs. 8p
Una locura ese rolling thunder amigo
I want one
that’s awesome can I buy it ?
Well...yes of course! 😁
Replacing those cannons with missile pods was probably wise
right? Especially if you value your life and Knowing is half the battle!

Are you selling the files for the Rolling Thunder? Sooooo awesome.
I am not, only finished goods.
Just out of pure curiosity, what is the proposed price tag for one?
Also have you weighed it?
Can we get a link for the lights you used? Please
link added into the description.
Thanks!!
not fan of the show but they had the best toys
Hi, How long would it take to make one for sell?
Conservatively...two to three weeks. Depending on work load really.
PixisDesigns how much to by this sir?
1300 not including shipping. Depending where purchased either paypal or etsy there will be taxes or other fees.
