the Altezza bit reminds me, I had an Irish guy come up to me last summer at a meet here in Vancouver and ask if I was Irish just because I drive an Altezza. that, along with this video, brought up the memory (not sure if you remember) of going to a sushi restaurant with Alex and a few others in Coquitlam a number of years back where you showed up on your bike and talked about people doing rings in Altezzas and the oddball stuff people in Vancouver import from Japan. loved seeing your enthusiasm about it all then and I still do now.

You say people who arent car people dont get why we just stare at our cars but even i dont understand why i do it. I got a shiter of an ugly mx5 mk1 that i have crashed twice, fixed it with a hammer twice and not cleaned in 4 months l. But i stare at my baby and feel joy. Best part of the day is walking up to it to drive it and seeing it for the first time that day.
I love the beautiful Corollas of course but I gotta admire a car collection that includes a Starlet Turbo, Formula Vee, and an Anglia. I bet that Anglia scoots with a V8.
I love watching these because it's so hard to find a 86 where I live it gives me a little slice of life what it's like owing one

What motivated me to own a starlet/glanza was a guy near by in Dublin used to pass my apartments where me and my friends hung out at the age 14/15 always wanted a glanza was my dream car. Begged my dad to go buy one with me at the age of 16 which he said no because no room and you’ll never get insured. At the age of 18 I bought my first glanza saved every pay check passed on pints to buy it. I made it two months later sold because couldn’t afford things with college. Found my way now at the age of 21 own a gorgeous example still in college and I’d never part with her chasing the dreams. Dad loves it now too helps me out to work on it sometimes and gives advice from his own mechanic experience. Only got a td04 hybrid 2 days ago. 👌🏽😎

I would sacrifice my first born child to get an ae86 here in America, and my entire life I’ve only ever seen 1, and it was a drag car and a sorta greenish yellow and I was surprised by how small it was, I always expected it to be around civic size not smaller but I still want one

Where did you find the info on chassis number meaning? Been looking for the info online to look into both of my 86s with no luck. If you could do a short vid on just that alone it would be interesting and a great help.
I've now realized I could save so much fucking money on importing an 86 if I, instead of importing all the way from Japan, just import an Irish/UK one.
