I got a degree in electrical engineering after finishing my time with the Army and being in this MOS for almost 10 years taught me more technical skills than college.
My recruiters reserved this MOS to me as of last week, and I'll be at Fort Jackson on June 17th. God speed to you friend may we meet each other one day.
Make sure you don't get butthurt and sensitive when you're yelled at and told to do stuff you don't want to do. When given a direct order don't ask "why". Read and learn the US Constitution, that is what you are defending. Being an "good" Armament Dawg will be tough. You will have to be an electrician, avionics tech and weapons/armament tech in one skill code. If you're good at it, it will make you smarter and carry you to greater things than what the Army can offer. Most ARE NOT GOOD at MOS 15Y, they're just good enough. Rise above.
@@discofishingis MOS 15Y generally a hard MOS to get? Recently went to a recruiter station and did pretty well on the practice test, I take the ASVAB Monday.
