Hello guys I have made this cheap 3D printer at home, I already have a 3D printer but I want to make my own
So i design each and every part of this printer as per my need and build my own 3D Printer
Please note this before printing !!
The total printing time for all parts are approx 30 hour PLA 1.75
I have used 6MM Smooth rod & T8 lead screw with NEMA 17 Motor 42x42x34mm 4 Wires and GT2 timming belt
If your Hardware configuration match with above you can use those 3D model to build your 3d printer

It helps to get all the strands of the wire in the terminal before you tighten the screw . Many boards fail due to over heated terminals for just this reason....

This is the most chintzy self-built printer I have ever seen. Might as well buy an Anet A8 at that point.

Sounds like some lubrication is required!, nice build although I have always thought the main gantry would benefit from some diagonal buttresses on the i3 design

Title should have been "how i built a 3D printer using 3D printed diy parts". Lol. So id need to have an 3D printer already to build one. Good video, job well done.
So what was the total cost for the build?

Thingiverse link has the 3d part files, you could just have a printing service like ponoko print the necessary pieces. Then you buy the remaining pieces and assemble. Chances are a DIY kit off amazon would be cheaper if you don't have a friend to print parts, printing services used to be cheap but for whatever reason they have nearly doubled from most companies.

You can get a cheap 3D printer, like the EasyThreed X1. It costs 80 bucks and produces decent quality that rivals some high-end models. Or have a 3D printing service print the parts for you.

I think your X axis is inverted, normally X endstop and position zero stay at left side... In your calibration cube, the Y face is in other side of the model.
When try to print something with words for example, it will be inverted.
You can try to put the X endstop to the other side and inverted motor direction, it could solve the problem.
