The most basic part of making butter chicken is that the colour in butter chicken comes from Tomatoes and not the browning of onions. Dried Fenugreek is never sauteed with Onion, it's always added as a garnish at almost the last stage to retain its strong aroma. Most importantly she had to be reminded by the anchor that there aint no butter in this dish yet :P
I agree she said classic butter chicken - not authentic butter chicken. The title also says “Nischa’s Butter chicken” She said the colour of the onions is to give sweetness. Not the actual colour. If you’re looking for authentic recipes, try searching for those words.
@@aname5267 When ever someone says “Classic any dish”, it always means original dish. She anyway ended up adding sugar for the sweetness which is fine but that’s no excuse for browning the onions.

Nobody said it was. She owns a successful restaurant business called Mowgli in several locations in England. I’ve eaten in two of them.
