Never did I ever think I would find someone else who uses a skateboard as a pedalboard. His is way cooler though, but we both came about the idea the same way. A buddy I jam with told me to check this vid out because the dude had the same pedalboard as I did. He was not wrong, gotta check these boys out
Was lucky enough to see them live in Columbus. I was also super intrigued by the TV setup! Now I get to know the stories behind it all too. I love these rundowns, please keep them up!
Just yesterday I was trying to find footage from this show. I looked for at least an hour to find nothing. This morning this came up in my recommendations and I watched it to actually hear what they had to say. That first clip and seeing my tiny little hand rocking out is amazing. Best show I have ever attended.
LMAO my very first pedal board was all my pedals strapped down to an old deck I had laying around. I can't believe more people haven't done this! or maybe us stoner skaters are the only ones with old decks laying around and have the high idea of "I bet that would work!". little tip: wider decks with less concave work the best for a pedal board. It sucks when the deck has too much concave and the pedals can't lay flat. Good video
Would y'all talk to John Dwyer for a rig rundown? I know y'all did that bitchin' article a while ago but I think it'd be cool to see Tim Hellman's gear and Dwyer's new stuff
28:40 The guys are awesome! "yeah, so this fuzzer I always use so I sound really cool; and oh yeah: then there's this one: I always use that one when I want it to sound even more cool and stuff."
Really enjoyed this one, that Zac, what a laugh he is...! He had some good patter, laid back a non - fazed outlook...! Fair play to you & your band...! ✌👦👍
Love FIDLAR. Awesome to see a rig rundown of them. Funny guys. Elvis has a quite loud base hum (well, he's the only one who demod his stuff) - maybe because of the TVs next to his amp? :D
The pedal board is sick! i've thought about cutting up my old decks to make a pedal board, but Zac's just like "fuck it here's a primitive x rick and morty board signed by the creators of the show on the fucking floor with pedals screwed to it!"
Lol makes me laugh how every hipster with vintage gear just 'happened to come into it' and didn't just trawl eBay for weeks with a 2k budget.. (not saying this guy's specifically)
@@KingForADay17 I mean , two of them are sons of a pretty well known musician/producer, So it’s not like they started from the very bottom. Excellent band though
I have OCD, please tell me where to bring my bleach and rags. I need to clean that pedalboard STAT!!!!! I turn away when the camera pans on that dudes pedals.
Are you referencing Elvis and Max's dad playing keyboard for TSOL and the fact they got fender gear for free? because i'm pretty sure those two things aren't related. Not sure how much weight having a dad who used to play keyboard in an old punk band carries these days. Also last tour I saw them and they sold out Terminal5 in NYC which is a pretty legit venue so not sure about that comment either.
They sold out the show I went to in Columbus, Ohio. Everybody went crazy for them. And might I ask who interviewed you asking about YOUR world-touring rig?
"I really appreciate that you managed to even talk being as high as you are..."
Brandon sounds like such a cool dude!! I love the story about the TVs
Theo's Day to day experiences on earth I’ve met him a couple times he’s a super cool and nice guy, so friendly

SrDeMaFp so what’s the verdict? Dig the music?
@@Yeastlord Yeah, I do. Definitely worth a listen. Check em out!
This was the most punk rock thing I've ever seen
Elvis’ pedal board is a true masterpiece of dope tone.
Zac was so stoned in this!
He smoked a joint that was humungous big
I've been wanting a Fidlar rig rundown for SOOO long.
Nice! Do IDLES Rig Rundown now!

Eddie Van Halen's Strats had a 'Tone' knob on the volume control, too :-)
Keep the new stuff coming. Great band and interesting rig rundown.
Started with the bass player! Threw me, man...
I never thought of using one of my old decks for a pedal board. What a fuckin' great idea!!!
I was waiting for their dress room rundown.

Harry Chrome along with single coils and likely dirty venue power.
Brandon if you read this they sell usb DVD burners for like 20 bucks on Amazon
Ah Bumble Buzz, I see you're a man of culture Elvis
These guys are the trashiest, thrashiest punk band out there! I love it!
I come here regularily just to hear Zac say: "I wish I had my Straaat..."
