Watching for 2 years. Ok so i am 32 year old from Sweden and a SUPER gamer like pc games and all, playing for 5-10h a day if i can and like :)... on sundays i loooove to watch your vids as a cooldown for work/gaming :).... just gotta say i love you and keep on rocking Connor !
2:40 - try using break parts cleaner to clean the sediment cup. It works really well and won’t deteriorate rubber gaskets like carb and throttle body cleaner.
I appreciate how you show all the "nasty" spots and all that. I am personally a lover of native grasses and flowers existing in dense diversity, but I still appreciate the care and interest you put into your property.
I know you say your not a how to channel, but you're definitely my inspiration. Took my lawn down to an inch and it sprung back green. I will go for a half inch in the fall. I want a reel mower bad. And found a local commercial Toro dealer with demo models for sale.
The struggle is real!!! My Tif419 is almost perfect but I have a few light patches of some type of invading grass that drives me nuts. I feel your pain.
Please start over from scratch. I love watching your videos and you keep saying that you wish you did it right the first time. Lets get this done right. :) - R&R
Looks good with nice clean crisp cut! My guess is that the unwanted grass is from the cows manure that was left on your lawn cause some of it looks like fescue and pasture type grass and then some Pr as well
I've been having great luck this year working out any undesirables in my lawn by taking a small cup of glypho and wiping it on the blades while wearing a rubber glove. Have not killed any good grass and it works fast.
I've used a number of reel mowers. The only one that competes with the Toro is the John Deere. I own the Toro GreensMaster 1000 so you know which I think is best. It's just a badass machine.
way off topic, but that video quality was fricken rad! It almost looked like you were in front of a green screen. I watched it in 2460 whatever that means. Great video. Cheers dude.
At 14:28 you mention top-dressing. This is where I get confused because I know you use sand to level. When you mention top-dressing are you talking about putting soil down, or sand? I’ve heard a few of the lawn guys on UA-cam say that you don’t want to create different layers. Thanks!
There was a time when Connor Ward's Lawn was his main focus. He would bag his grass clippings and show video's on fertilizing with liquid and granular fertilizers. Please, vote to make Connors Lawn Great Again!!
Thanks for the clips on working on the mower. Any tips or videos you can do on that is great. Trying to learn more about them and pick up a nice used one soon.
Hey Connor, what if you had a nursery section of sod you could use to replace those areas of perennial rye. You could just dig up the section of rye and replace it with a piece of kbg from your nursery area. It would be a nearly instant repair.
You can fix it pal. Preem this fall should rid the poa a next season. Also read a heavy dose of pgr will kill the poa. And of course you know 2nd year is when kbg really takes off
Lawn looks great! I’m actually looking to purchase my first cylinder mower after seeing how well it cuts your lawn. Found some used Toro Greenmaster 1000s online. Not sure what a good price is, still researching. Thanks for sharing!
Hey Connor, you should look into MSMA herbicide. My buddy sprays it on his baseball fields with great results, it kills crabgrass and poa annua. I'm not sure if it can be sprayed on Kentucky Bluegrass, but its definitely worth looking into! Loved the #mowjob!!!
What a great video! I love that mower !!!!! I hope your dahlias make it, some bunnies have been eaten some of me and my neighbors leaves. We put some metal fencing around them recently. Thanks man! Keep em coming!!!
My $0.02: those are not perennial rye plants, but rather, poa triv baby plants. Poa Triv tends to have a shiny back side of the leaf, so it is similar to PRG in that sense. It likely came in during the overseeding process. Lots of guys on thelawnforum website have reported similar issues over the past few years after overseeding. The problem is poa triv is a perennial (as opposed to poa annua) and it spreads via seed & stolons, so simply nuking the yard does not always work as there is still viable seed or stolons in the soil. Connor - if it turns out it is poa triv, you are going to want to sod cut out the infested areas to get rid of the stolons and seed bank in the soil, otherwise my fear is you will be playing whack-a-mole on it every year.
12:30am and I'm watching the adventures of Conner The Lawn Rebel. I''m getting ready to order Mazama KBG in the morning for my project. By the way 4th :)
Off topic here, but I just watched Ryan Knorr’s new video. Can you go over to his place and help him build an awesome ramp to his shed , maybe add some led strip lights on each side for the runway effect? What do you think Big guy?
I reel mow the whole lawn because I have a rider. That area is 20k sq ft. The area that I mowed in this video is 8k. The area were there is dirt where the trees were is about 1.5-2 ish I would guess
Connor how'd you make out with them roots in your backyard? Glad to see some progress. I hope you used Downy drier sheets for the blankets on your plants? LOL! Thanks for the entertainment

I enjoy watching you enjoy your ASMR moments with your turf. Going to look good when you renovate it. Love the hat:D
Love the lawn, living lawn care vicariously from here in London.
Happy to help you with this.
No more messing around Connor. I have faith in you. Smoke that lawn
I know you say your not a how to channel, but you're definitely my inspiration. Took my lawn down to an inch and it sprung back green. I will go for a half inch in the fall. I want a reel mower bad. And found a local commercial Toro dealer with demo models for sale.
I can’t believe how many subscribers you have gotten! Great work, brother!
Thanks Tyler. I always enjoy seeing you around
Your vids always give me mowtivation
the growth of new grass around the vole damage is very impressive!
The struggle is real!!! My Tif419 is almost perfect but I have a few light patches of some type of invading grass that drives me nuts. I feel your pain.

Great video 👍🏿 thanks for posting
I like the new style hats. Twill ball caps!😎👊
yeah.. they are really nice actually.
Absolutely love seeing how happy you are when you are mowing the lawn😄!
thanks.. I do love a fresh mower
You should put some type curb in around by the road
Geez frost in June? Was just 102 here in Texas lol
Your yard has really come back nice after the winter damages. Looking good. Thanks for the update videos 👍
Great work!
Connor lawn saying “cut me mick...cmon cut me” lol 😂
Looks good with nice clean crisp cut! My guess is that the unwanted grass is from the cows manure that was left on your lawn cause some of it looks like fescue and pasture type grass and then some Pr as well
You need lawn rebel pants
yeah I do.. those would like like MC Hammer parachute pants right?
Connor Ward
Of course
Thanks Connor for the video!
I see that Northern tow behind sprayer attached to your Deere; how about a video about that. Would be helpful as I’m looking at buying one! Thanks!!
My OCD also hates all the imperfections in the lawn. But it is by far superior than anything in my wildest dreams
Seems that you only have one choice: Scotts ProVista KBG. Let me know if you'd like me to make a connection/introduction for you.
This is a hard decision to make
Wait, I thought he was your Toro dealer?
I've been having great luck this year working out any undesirables in my lawn by taking a small cup of glypho and wiping it on the blades while wearing a rubber glove. Have not killed any good grass and it works fast.
I smell another renovation coming!
haaaaa. that opening when you come out of the door reminded me of Mr Rogers. haaaa
As the kids would say, those single double stripes are fire! I've been doing single double stripes for 2 years now, and love it!
Looking good, across the street there are fields would seeds from the bad grass blow into your grass and now spread.
yeah probably.
That's what happen to me so I mowed my extra lot and maintain it now I have 6 acres that are all most weed free.
I'm addicted to this show and your lawn. It's definitely a love/hate. I dream of having it, I can't imagine spending 9 hours a day on my lawn. :)
I've used a number of reel mowers. The only one that competes with the Toro is the John Deere. I own the Toro GreensMaster 1000 so you know which I think is best. It's just a badass machine.
I've not seen a mower like that with the old barrel cutting wheel like I used when I was 9
what kind/type of grass is this? Which one would you recommend for hot weather (Alabama)?
Can't you spot spray with round up as the blue grass will fill in . Then on the large parch use plugs
You should build a big she shed for all your yard tools/mowers..😁
Is that old Scott's drop spreader hanging on the wall just for decoration now??
na... that thing is only good for seeding projects
Great video
I Love this Moment you freaken out
No frost at the Peoria sports complex
way off topic, but that video quality was fricken rad! It almost looked like you were in front of a green screen. I watched it in 2460 whatever that means. Great video. Cheers dude.
Glad I’m not the only one that finds the thing you need is buried behind everything else in the shed 😄
this is the story of my life... always hunting for the tools that I need.
We all want that perfect lawn. Being patient with my lawn is the hardest thing to do. I feel your pain sir.
burn it down grow it up burn it down grow it up.. its the life cycle of a perfect lawn.
@@lawnrebel 🦩🦩🦩💚 Love lawn care. It's what we do.
I only run race gas in my lawnmowers so I don't have to deal with the carb's getting all plugged up. It's more expensive but well worth it to me.
I knew you were going to forget to turn the gas back on!

That's miserable.....threat of frost in June. It's beautiful out there, but those temps in June would be a no-go! Good luck!
Sister ward: Connor !? Where are all the bed sheets and blankets?
Connor: frost protection! If your cold wear a sweater and socks to bed.
LOL.... do not bring it up
Lmao 😂
What kind of Toro mower is that?
Love it! Love it! Love it! Oh boy,
What is the name and type of the mower - will I work with Zoisa grass. Thanks
There was a time when Connor Ward's Lawn was his main focus. He would bag his grass clippings and show video's on fertilizing with liquid and granular fertilizers. Please, vote to make Connors Lawn Great Again!!
A great lawn takes alot of work and time! And you do a great job!
Yes it does. I love the work of it
Thanks for the clips on working on the mower. Any tips or videos you can do on that is great. Trying to learn more about them and pick up a nice used one soon.

What kind of grass are you considering if you burn it all down?
Connor, I need a mower like that! I live in northern Utah where is the best place to buy one? I'm not having the best luck finding one.
Looking good! I really like that sweater too!
You can fix it pal. Preem this fall should rid the poa a next season. Also read a heavy dose of pgr will kill the poa. And of course you know 2nd year is when kbg really takes off
Water to clean gas line filter??? You truly are a rebel, sir 😂
yeah.... works........actually it doesn't really work
What type of grass is that ?
Wild grass seed blowing on the lawn

The lawn looks great from the mole damage
Lawwwwwwn Rebelllll!!!!!
Need that GCI Turf Academy plan!
Might be time to admit you love perennial rhy and plant that 😆 it's your destiny
Lawn looks great! I’m actually looking to purchase my first cylinder mower after seeing how well it cuts your lawn. Found some used Toro Greenmaster 1000s online. Not sure what a good price is, still researching. Thanks for sharing!
He’s back

All these videos in one week?!! Amazing. You're still my favourite grass guy!
Yes.. The time was nigh at hand
The best is when you can get them to cut paper and have barely any reel to bedknife contact. Very hard to do but so satisfying
What a great video! I love that mower !!!!! I hope your dahlias make it, some bunnies have been eaten some of me and my neighbors leaves. We put some metal fencing around them recently. Thanks man! Keep em coming!!!
Cuts bills like a beast! :)
Enjoyed watching your excitement to cut. Enjoy a nice hot cocoa and keep your smiling grin cutting.
First Aussie 😁. Your having a shit day. At least you got a mow in. 😎👍👍
too much contact to the bed knife. did they grind or backlap?
Grind
If you were really a "Lawn Rebel" you would be checking the blade with a 100 dollar bill :)

Hope that was a home depot receipt you were chopping up at the start of the video! #satisfaction # takethat
Ha.... Walmart
Watch the wife will be looking for that receipt that you just checked the blades for sharpness with. Lol
Well done mate! #thegrassman from Ireland
Frost Warnings in June?????? WTF ? I thought we had it bad on May 8 in Northwest Ohio🥴
2 minutes ago?! GET THIS YOU LOOKY LOOO!

12:30am and I'm watching the adventures of Conner The Lawn Rebel. I''m getting ready to order Mazama KBG in the morning for my project. By the way 4th :)
5:30 pm here 🙃
Brrrrrrr frost this time of year stinks !!!
A yank who doesn’t have grass that’s 4” tall! Nice!
SEE You!!
47 degrees is that normal for your area? I am in St Louis and it was up in the 80's.
Not normal. Freak weather. Thousands in delicate flowers that can not freeze
I bet it looks like the world's largest paper shredder exploded in your garage. Love the videos. Please, never stop.
Don't kid yourself. You're burning her down. I'm in full support. Also, bye bye nasty cottonwoods. Cheers
Cheers to the cottonwoods going away. I have not sprayed it quite yet
I think I'd just burn it down unfortunately....burn, fertilize, water, and repeat several times to be sure. Sucks...but you'll be super happy you did
Oh...and go with midnight...nothing else.
The little filter is the machines appendix
Nice Butter knife
Why cant you top dress if you kill off the lawn? Dont you normally top dress on new seed anyway?
sand top dress with smother the new and spreading lawn
Off topic here, but I just watched Ryan Knorr’s new video. Can you go over to his place and help him build an awesome ramp to his shed , maybe add some led strip lights on each side for the runway effect? What do you think Big guy?
I'll head over there tomorrow morning
Connor Ward I know right! Poor guy, would be neat for a summer time collaboration. Hope you are well and looking forward to see the next vid pal.
How many sq ft is the part of the yard that you reel reel mow now and what would it be with the spot where your cottonwood trees were?
I reel mow the whole lawn because I have a rider. That area is 20k sq ft. The area that I mowed in this video is 8k. The area were there is dirt where the trees were is about 1.5-2 ish I would guess
That is Poa trivialis
Please record Sister Wards reaction if you burn it down.
Connor how'd you make out with them roots in your backyard? Glad to see some progress. I hope you used Downy drier sheets for the blankets on your plants? LOL! Thanks for the entertainment
