- Ice calving, or glacier calving, is when chunks of ice from the edge of an iceberg fall off into the oceans. But some of these chunks of ice can fall from as far as 200 feet high creating massive and hazardous waves. And with climate change becoming more and more apparent, these calvings are occurring at a much faster and much more alarming rate. But despite the inherent dangers of getting too close to one of these events, witnessing an ice calving is a very popular tourist attraction in places like Alaska. So join us for today’s video, where we take a look at 15 of the biggest glacier collapses and calvings!

Thank you for the list, hopefully the climate will get warm enough to make Greenland green again! I heard it was absolutely beautiful before all this global cooling climate change.
I don't think Greenland is losing much ice considering they dug up a P-38 that landed on the ice cap in 1942 and it was under 268 feet of snow and ice.

The biggest ice berg in the world is B15 it calved of of the ross ice shelf in 200O it had a surface area of over 4000 square miles

how does a ice berg that is already in the water raise sea level. what 9 inches of sleeves rise in 150 years. ice flows not sink.

the climate has been changing since there was one ,,the natural process of the planets changing is documented thru millions if years changes ,such as continental break up and the various ice ages ,cooling and warming trends volcanic eruptions and so on ,

Over 30 years ago I read an article, most likely in the Readers Digest about the end times, and this scientist saying how glaciers melting due to climate change COULD eventually tilt the earth on it’s a axis. If so, it would set the earth for a perfect climate. This goes along with Revelations. The longer I live, the more I feel this man was dead on! Read Gods Word peeps, and be ready! 📖🙏🏼

The only true climate change is: Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter.
However, because the second coming of Jesus is soon to come, there is a prophecy in Rev. 16:8, 9 that tells us the sun will begin to scorch all of creation, but mostly mankind because of sin. This may be the early stage of such to come upon us. Ready or not, here He comes.
