MT. TALINIS || APOLONG TRAIL || FIRST MAJOR HIKE || IAN UBA VLOGS

My first ever major climb after a year in this hiking hobby. Apolong trail to Mt. Talinis in Valencia , Negros Occidental

At about 1,903 metres (6,243 ft)above sea level, it is the second highest mountain on Negros Island after Mount Kanlaon, and the tallest peak in the mountain range known as the Cuernos de Negros

Full of excitement as I go along during this trip , as I am longing for some diversion to cope up from the stages of depression.
It is hard and full of technical obstacles and in every successful stages during the hike, It took us an approximately eleven (11) hours to reach the CampSite in Lake Nailig , the original plan on our itinerary was to reach the summit on day one, but due to some strenuous trail delays were expected. I always reflect and make thoughts to suffice my anxieties during the rock bottom I suffered from .Talking with my mates during the hike gives me a lot of realization and lightened the weights I carry from my shoulder and even in my disposition aside from the full loads we have for camping. All throughout the journey I am focused to move on.
Never have I thought for what Mt. Talinis have given me after the hike. I asked for a quick escape , but she have given me another path to pursue life and I am grateful for it.
