Ive heard that cutting aluminium foil can re-sharpen them, and that the same method works with kitchen knives as well. Do you know if that's true?
@@verifiedinsomniac I’m not an expert but what I’ve heard is it actually hones the blades rather than actually sharpening them, and the effect will wear off, but it does have the effect of making them cut better in the short term. I’ve done it to regular scissors and it helped but I am too cautious with my fabric shears. When those get dull I’ll get them professionally sharpened.
Blunting is better than sharpening though 😔 I let my mum sharpen my best scissors, now they can't even cut thread...

you're the only asmrtist who can consistently guide me to sleep. i usually need something to half focus on to sleep or ill keep myself awake thinking about whatever my brain decides to think about. other asmrtists keep me up sometimes but you have such a uniquely soothing style that works eveytime.

the first one, i thought it was a hair brush. the 2nd i thought it was a book or a notebook (the tapping), the 3rd i thought they were rhinestones (the studs in the first one)😆 even though i had my eyes opened i tried not to look at the items when they show up a little bit so i could still try to guess what they are😊
