I'in in Arizona but electricians from back East tell me that because of the humidity in the air (in the rest of the country), "technically" the "breakers" in the breaker box should be flipped off then on every 6 months because the contacts can corrode together or corrode and lose contact. Same thing happens to these switches. Also, two choices of switch at H.D., Chinese for 85cents and American made $2.85. Guess which ones most of us buy. I FINALLY LEARNED. As usual, great video.
The problem with your other motor is no doubt a capacitor. The switch on your clean out auger motor has been weakened over time and when the motor first starts up it will have a current surge across the switch contacts and poof it burns itself off. You should be using a 20 amp rated double pole single throw type rated switch. If you are not operating your electric motors on 240 volts you may want to consider it. Your current draw will be less and other benefits. Talk to your local electrician. 👍🇺🇸🙏🏽✌🏻😎
If I were there, I could dig it, farm out man, out of state, no shovel ! ...... translation from "can you dig it?", far out, out of sight, no s@%t ! terms we all knew .... 1973 high school grad. ... thanks big D
Thank you for another interesting and enjoyable video.
Another great visit with the Farmer MD.
It's probably a start capacitor bad. Take them to Wenger's Motor Services in Mechanicsville, MD.
I was going to say the same thing. I always check the comments to make sure I'm not repeating the same advice.

Same thing happened to me and my brother, last year the unloading motor, locked up on the beans bin, had to replace the motor not a cheap fix either
65 cents may as well make it an even dollar for weevils. Oh, the pain.....

You probably have a transformer out on that motor
Why do you pull the sweep auger out instead of just leaving it in the bin?
You. Have the kinda luck I got......NONE
If that is what your wife says
Where's your buddy that went with on the cruise he could help you lift that auger into the bin before you hurt your b a ck.
