You did a few shortcuts that I like to call "just... DO IT!!" shortcuts, which is basically taking shortcuts that would normally need a mushroom to do without a mushroom. Good off-road is good to have when doing these.
A great video, shame about that Cheese Land though :P I hate that course without Wii remote d-pad, It would have been interesting to see what you could cook up. You could have taken even more radical cuts now and then though. At 3:08 (GBA Mario Circuit) you can jump straight over the tires with a miniturbo (at least with a kart). At 5:48 (Yoshi Circuit) you can cut the second corner by jumping over the water, of course it makes the waterfall harder to handle but saves quite a lot of time tbh. There are a couple more shortcuts in Big Blue, try searching the latest world records for them.

I hope that the next Mario kart game has more glitches, techniques(like wheelying) and advanced shortcuts. the newer Mario kart games add so linear, follow the road and take an intended shortcut with a mushroom. please bring back the fun
Mullet Eagle 11 no, nintendo needs to add more strategy to their games. Glitches were fun, but can be removed,(and should be), but the lack of any shortcuts or techniques (besides firehopping) that required any skill killed the game for me.
Well, the reason they won't make another Melee is because they want the game to be fair for everyone and not alienate newcomers or casual players. So they keep their games polished and balanced.

Here's other shroomless shortcuts I know: Shy Guy Falls: You can do a shortcut in the very first turn Rainbow Road: you can do a way tighter drift over the grey dirt(???) area on the shortcut you showed. Sherbet Land: You can hop over the big hill before your shortcut Donut Plains 3: Hop over the the grass on the first turn Hyrule Circuit: The turn before you go through the last area with the piranha plants, you can hop over the grass. It's hard to do without hitting the trees through.

7PumasUNAM Rosalina does a backflip separate from her bike-- as in, she literally jumps off her bike, does the flip, and gets back on.
The first shortcut on Mount Wario can be done shroomless on any speed, you just need to release your drift before the jump.

I've had mkwii for 5 years and I'm still used to the inward bikes of wii and the karts of mk8

Many of them are too slow in other cc classes for them to be worthwhile. The drift jumping makes them viable for 200cc racing and trials.
