@@originalfowlboy1903 They're africanized, there is no "If I don't freak out they won't freak out." You could swing in that hammock one minute and that swarm might tolerate you, and 5 minutes later you could just breathe in their direction and before you could utter "oh shi..." be covered by 'em.
@fubar5884 it's not nearly that drastic, though yea killer bees are more defensive than most honey bees. But generally if you are calm and of no threat to the hive, then they'll keep well enough alone. The biggest danger the hammock swinger was in was jostling the branch the bees were on.
