- For today's free wire tutorial, I'd like to share my Spy Glass Beaded Wire Chain tutorial.
Originally this was going to be called "Big Little Chain" but I really didn't gel with the name, so I hope you approve!
I really do love making cold formed chain from wire and hope you enjoy the video.

As a beginner, I had difficulty making these but after the 5th try and using 20g wire (vs. 18) it went smoother. I used a 10mm bead with a 6" length of wire and 2" before the bend for the first loop. I also hammered the big loop after each was completed. They catch the light very prettily. Have a great personal new year!
