Nice and melancholic theme. I remember when we had a similar radio, in the nineties. "I would listen to it on a loop, like the cassette that spins and spins, and then rewinds. In addition, each of us gives off an energy, a color, a unique melody that flows and connects with that of others. I think I will continue listening to you for a long time." 😉
A set of photographs sit upon the story board Alice - "The World. The Light. Everything" Saga - "The rest of us, who just want to understand" Alex Casey - "The tragic hero. We want to be him, even if we shouldn't." Thomas Zane - "Our insanity incarnate. He wants to understand too, but madness cannot be logical" Scratch - "A manifest of our darkness. A twisted reflection, but not wholly inaccurate" You reach for the last photo and hold it to your face. It brings you to tears. Alan Wake - "You. You can't stay here forever. There's much to do. Wake up."
How could I forget the times when things were more simple unchained by the outside world my room was the only thing I had never had much than that. This video is calling out to me like a long lost friend reminding who I once was a loner and free spiritedly from the material things. Love your ways SurvivalSpheres!
Never played Alan Wake, but I'm slightly aware of the premise. This sounds incredibly powerful and sad. The symbolism of "It's not a loop, it's a spiral" hits like a ton of bricks. Fitting for Silent Hill too. Because almost never do spirals go up, they tend to go down. It evoked a recall of a past spiral into depression. In hindsight, it's proof that luck exists and miracles indeed happen 🙂😊
@@SurvivalSpheres Very nice of you to put it like that, but I think I'd have been dead a LONG time ago if it wasn't for luck 😅 Sometimes it feels like I'm living on "borrowed time" 😝
*"Back to the beginning, with the memory of the past loop already fading fast."* *"But while it lingers, I know there's hope."* *"We are not doomed to repeat our failures in an eternal loop."* *"This, is a spiral."*
*Going for a Alan Wake 2 theme hm?* *1-2 Weeks after I finish the game hm?* *Aha, you never did coincidences after all, back in the day when I went to my old ps2 to replay the feelings and went to the RE4 Seperate Ways Campaign you published a remix of that very same song.* *Time always gives it away ^_^*
True fans won’t like me saying this, but playing only AW2 would have proved sufficient for me. Played 1 afterwards for the sake of completion, but watching a story explanation would have done the job much faster. AW2 though, that’s a whole different story… that ambience has to be experienced.
@SurvivalSpheres Wow, that sounds like a very genuine, honest review. Im not so much a completionst, but Ill probably play both, since the first one has been on my list forever
Didn't play AW2 yet, didn't like AW1 much, but this goes straight to my work playlist like always 👍🏻 Kinda sounds like the Last of Us mixed with Silent Hill. You can almost hear the dust 😌
Totally with you as regards AW1. Believe me when I say… AW2 hits *different*. Didn’t forget ya by the way. I warned you I‘m slow and tend to be ‚away’, even though I’m surprised that it became that long this time😩🫣🫢 I always get back though, nothing is ever forgotten. Soon!
@@SurvivalSpheres sure, I just had to be sure you got the message. It takes as long as it should, there is no rush👌🏻😌 Thanks, I think I will check out AW2 as soon as I release my own.. ehm. "Alan Wake" 😂 I hope I can deliver it by Xmas though.
Ahahaha, so that's why. :D Would you like to explain if you took one of the songs from the OST as a reference to create this or is it 100 % from your imagination? Sounds kinda familiar but I'm not sure if it reminds me of a specific AW2 song. Sounds good though! So did you play through the Alan Wake games? If so what are your thoughts?
No musical reference or inspiration at all, besides the choice of retro electric guitar. The games don’t exactly have music like this though, but still overall great scores, especially AW2. Played it without knowing anything about the franchise and loved it for its story, setting, ambience and craziness. Wanted to dive deeper and played AW1 remaster with all DLCs. Can’t say I regret it, but… it’s a different thing. Looking back, watching a story explanation about 1 would have sufficed. In short, my advice is just play 2, it provides the core experience and is enough by itself.
@@SurvivalSpheres Interesting. I think you really benefit from playing AW1 before 2 but I'm glad you enjoyed 2 anyway. I agree though that 2 is the better experience. That being said - others would probably tell you to play all the Remedy games before Alan Wake 2 because they are all connected in a way and seem to build up that crazy Remedyverse for their stories.
@@Tasuva Oh yes I know, there’s so much content actually. But I can’t play them all you know? Sadly haha🫣 So which ones exactly did you play and in which order?
@@SurvivalSpheres I've only played Alan Wake 1 and Control so far. Watched some UA-camrs play Alan Wake 2 because my PC isn't powerful enough for that one. Also watched some of Max Payne 1 but that's it. I still have a lot to experience.
her last moments live inside of these photographs..
Again and again and again.
I have not played Alan Wake but this sounds great, very melancholic. Great job as always SS.
You gave me a new diamond, that I will listen to...thank you...💜
Thank you for making it shine!✨

Vibrations are sent by everyone in all variations and they will into all directions. The receiver is the one sorting them out💫

You’ve managed to squeeze an entire cosmos into a nutshell. No easy task. No easy task at all.
This is really good thanks for the Sunday upload as well😊
Yes finally a Alan Wake 2 save room theme 🎉❤.
I was able to sleep through the night this time, and so I missed this upload.
Beautiful track once again, Survival Spheres.
@@TheKoiFish Hello Airman! Greetings to Okinawa🫡🙏🏻✨
Listening to these tapes repeatedly, hoping that somehow they might weave a spell, allowing me to hear your voice within them.
As the tapes slowly degraded, so does the voice. It starts to twist and change, until you realize: it was your own voice all the time✨⌚️🌌
Ooo seeing how the music has branched out to AW2 inspired, it makes me wonder if it’ll ever go places like Signalis too
Might be… one day. Thanks for listening.
Yet another banger. 🎉
This takes me to another dimension. Keep up the phenomenal work 🤍
I think you’ve been there before🖤

Spiritually free…. so if you remember that feeling, why would you assume that you are not any longer?
Oooooo beautiful

Soft, soothing, and very gentle OST, very calming and pure.
Listening to my old tapes. Bring the past alive one more time.
Don’t listen too often. They will degrade with each play. A fragile joy it is.
Pushing through, this waking nightmare. Ceaseless though it is

I have some questions about the visuals. Did you capture the video yourself? Is this an in-game recording? I really like the way it looks
Yes, I recorded and looped it right from the game. It’s very rich with strong ambience, be it visuals or sound.
