I contracted C19 a little over a year ago. My symptoms were mild and did not last long. The worst part oddly enough was the complete and utter loss of small and taste which is still not 100% resolved. My doctor recently retested my antibodies and I am still showing natural immunity levels even a year post infection. I have been around people who had Covid-19 and never got reinfected. This is what makes the mandates even more appalling to me. Zero consideration for those of us who have a robust natural immunity or that the vaccines not only provide us zero net benefit and could in fact expose us to side effects and vaccine harm. It’s shameful.

Every situation is different. I had it July from my husband who traveled for work. I was back to my normal after 2wks. Then 4 weeks after the initial, my daughter started school and got it and I got it again. Had no antibodies between when checked and still don't. Checked 5 times total. Blood and finger stick. Also t cell test negative a month after the 2nd go round. Have had long hauler situation and would probably be classified as a mild to mod case. Symptoms worse 1st go round but shorter and 2nd go round they were less intense but drawn out for weeks and have had issues on and off since. Main symptoms were chest pain, SOB feeling, heart rate increase, sinus symptoms, tonsillitis, painful throat, insomnia, back pain, increased smell and everything stunk or burnt smell, burning sensation in eyes, nose, chest, ears, fever. I'm 40. Work from home for years and am an RN. Only medical history is hasimotos hypothyroidism.
I am a nursing mom. I remember thinking how I wouldn't mind getting covid since my baby would benefit from my immunity and I could pass it to him. I got covid. Was out of commission for a solid day and gradually became better after a week. A month after my sense of smell came back. And I nursed my baby the whole time. So now he is better prepared to deal with it should it infect him. God bless our incredible immune response. Such intelligent design.

I would theorize that for a person with naturally acquired immunity that subsequent exposure would be like having a "booster". One might get virus in their nose but their body will recognize it and activate the immune system to prevent illness. Therefore being non infectious and without symptoms, but if you swabbed their nose you could detect the virus presence.
After 11 months recovered I still have significant antibodies. I have not received the vax. I have had re-exposures. I appreciate this information/study, the likes of which I have suspected from the beginning.
Thank you Dr. Mobeen
your theory is perhaps not theory,.. it is a principle. For me., i had antibodies,, it went down after some months... then i had to spend few days with someone close whom i strongly suspect had covid.. then after some weeks when i tested for ab,. the ab count had gone up ! i suppose that i had a nasal booster.and the virus had entered and reactivated the production of abs. It fits the theory. However , if i get such similar data elsewhere for many other people , then i would say with confidence.
My family was reinfected after 20 months, but with a much lesser version (of a pretty mild first version might I add). It took a week of cleaning and being actively exposed to 3 of my family members with it, and I could feel that "immune response", but didn't test positive for quite a bit... My son who was asymptomatic, but had thrombocytopenia held out the longest... around 6 other people with it for around 11 days before testing positive. No blood reaction this time, just a sinus type headache, light body aches and sleepy. I feel like we got our "boosters".
@@francinemitchell3809 how did you know they were reinfected? Was it a pcr test? They are not accurate at all they probably had the flu the second time unless they had a blood test done to confirm covid
@@thomaswagner2243 I definitely know. The first time around, there was no testing in our area unless you met certain criteria, and so we had no formal testing. However, it was the first time I ever lost my sense of taste and smell (for months) after not even blowing my nose. Also developed the dry cough and worst bronchial spasms in the 30 years of having bronchial spasms...for basically something that was milder than a cold! It was the weirdest thing. My oldest son had no symptoms, but about a month or so after we had this "mystery" illness, he developed thrombocytopenia and jaundice. There's no doubt in my mind (nor in our dr's) it was covid.
On the second occasion, one of the members of household had a very close contact. Now, this close contact's brother had a positive PCR and was actively sick. The close contact had just a runny nose and thought it was allergies, and I guess had a false negative. The household member lost his sense of smell pretty early on, and had typical symptoms. Then it went from him, and through all of us, minus the 90 year old in the house. I was using at home antigen testing, and we went through a lot of tests! We have 8 people in the house. I tested myself regularly due to the fact that I'm my 90 year old grandmother's caretaker. I did not test positive until I had active symptoms, and neither did anyone else in the house. I did not test my young kids until they had slight fevers, but my older kids had to be tested frequently per request of their employers. My oldest daughter was the second person with it, and at day 10, was retested on a PCR (at the request of her job) and was positive.
Our symptoms were similar to the first time around, yet more mild. I know for a fact it was not the flu. My kids had the flu the month before we had covid in early 2020. The flu kicked all the kids' asses. None of the adults in the home (3) caught it, although, I definitely felt my immune system fighting it...but I was in the thick of taking care of them all. Covid was a cake walk both times compared to the flu, even with the bronchial spasms and lingering exhaustion. I was out working in my yard with covid... I laid in bed for a week, crying like a baby with the flu when I've had it. There's not a doubt in my mind we had it twice, but that also doesn't upset me. We've had colds more than once...and the flu as well. Our immune systems still did their job.
@@francinemitchell3809 I appreciate your detailed response and I appreciate you not being condescending or insulting like most people who are asked anything pertaining to covid, I do recommend looking up interviews with Dr Peter McCullough he explains better than I can how the tests were used very wrong and how a absolute positive case of covid should be measured and established, hope your and your family stay well 🤙

Would there be any reasonable scientific reason to think that any vaccination, which is meant to artificially stimulate a portion of the natural immune system (exposure to spike protein only) would be in ANY way superior to naturally acquired immunity, which engages the full immune system thru exposure to the actual virus?
@LIVING WELLNESS The only way I can imagine a vaccine providing superior immune response to natural infection would be by exposing the immune system to multiple variants at once, which presumably natural infection would not do. I don't know if that's what tetanus does or not. But in the case of C19, none of the vaccines do that...they don't have 4 different versions of the spike protein, or something like that.
Much like an expensive watch, the vaccine is better because it costs more!!
Because the spike protein is highly specific, for one variant, vaccines might (unlikely) be superior to natural immunity if the natural acquired immunity is to a variant more divergent to the original Wuhan variant, than the current Delta variant. This might be the case if someone's natural immunity was due to prior infection with, say, the P.1, Brazilian variant. The vaccines are based on the original Wuhan variant spike protein. However, due to the multiple epitopes targeted by natural immunity, this seems an unlikely possibility.
Hi Mark Musser, I think that it is beyond all dispute that vaccinations are far more lucrative than natural immunity, of course that cannot be a significant factor in a commercial health care industry, that would be corruption.
Cheers, Richard.
Yes. Real-world data shows Pfizer vaccine can be more effective than previous infection at protecting against new infection (although the Pfizer protection wanes over time). Data is mixed on this though.
Dr. Been, You are of course completely correct to caution people not to take chances with their lives by getting infected. However, surely isn’t it logical sense to follow FLCC or similar protocols of early intervention prophylactics to minimise our risk of being hospitalised or death. Given all that we’ve learned about vaccines, adverse effects etc, in my view it stands to reason that acquiring natural immunity with these prophylactics seems to yield a better, more longer lasting & robust outcome.
I would very much like to get the robust immunity shown by surviving covid, however, I am very reluctant to risk death or long covid to get it. Anyone who is willing, and there seem to be millions, by all means, take the risk for me. Those who survive will be doing me a great service by cutting my chances of infection in the long run. I have a survival strategy that requires I do what it takes to survive today to fight another day. Apparently that strategy is not shared by everyone. They are perfectly willing to let lady luck guide their survival. Learning that was a real shocker to me.

I had Covid in the very beginning of the pandemic during first lockdown. 2 days of fever and cough with complete loss of taste, followed by another 3 days of milder cough with no other symptoms. Dr. Been, this is good news to hear! My wife & I have been quarantining after a very mildly symptomatic natural infection of the Delta variant. Thank you for all of your knowledge, humor, and creativity!
How do you know is Delta ? Or you just assume it because now everyone had Delta ? :)
@@maryannmd8331 I had it last month with very light symptoms. I was contacted shortly after by the the social security (I live in France) to inform me about my quarantine, and they told me it was the Delta variant... but from my test results from the lab (I did a rapid antigenic test that came positive, then ran to the laboratory to do a PCR test because I couldn't believe the results), it was the lambda variant... I told them that and they said no, it's Delta🤔😏... But I don't think it matters much.
Excellent post. Timely though overdue. Sad CDC hasn't tracked and reported this from the get go, retrospective nor prospective study done.
Glad you found this study and reported it to us.
CDC = criminals
True. Please wake up to the CDC, NIH, and FDA.
Thank You, for calling it "acquired natural immunity! Calling it "natural immunity" eliminates acknowledgment that it was not free, we earned it.
The innate natural immunity is a separate pathway to thd acquired natural immunity. The latest data seems to indicate vaccination affects the innate immune pathway.
Also we need to add the term, preexisting immunity that some have, and acquired immunity, and vaxed immunity that really isn't

Very, very interesting! And the study covered nine and a half months, so I was rather surprised that no one was reinfected as his immunity waned. This is very good news. It means a sufficiently high infection rate might indeed be able to provide herd immunity, or at least make the disease much less common. Those low quality vaccines are worse than worthless. I worry they may create an environment in which a more potent form of the virus may evolve.
Evolution will certainly create new strains that find their way around any immunity. It will be with us forever like colds and flu. Whether vaxxes are driving this evolution faster or changing how evolution occurs, well that is an interesting question.
Hi micheal s , there was never any doubt about the robustness on natural immunity, not was there ever any doubt that vaccination during an outbreak would fail to reduce the spread, if only because it is mostly those with reduced immune responses that get ill enough to spread it, vaccination doers nothing for any of them.
The environment that is suitable for the evolution of 'new' species is one where there are already several variants in the environment and they can interbreed, this does not apply to viruses anywhere at all, every new infection with this virus is only ever one variant from one source, there is no competition.
It is also worth remembering that all evolution is the product of pure chance, the prevalence of antibiotic bacteria is not the product of evolution, it is the product of the indiscriminate mis-use of antibiotics, the fact that the bacteria that are destroyed by the drugs leave the environment for the free spread of resistant ones, they have to be there already, they do not 'evolve' just when the environment is available they are always the product of pure chance.
Cheers, Richard.
I mean.. its litearlly biology.. its always worked this way.. tahts why it makes no sense that there is no natural immunity.. makes no sense.. unless the virus was mad in a lab
@Tom Hi, Tom, you also mis-use the term 'herd immunity', in conventional immunology this term applies only to the protection that those in the herd who cannot generate immunity and therefore are highly vulnerable, become protected by the fact that the rest of the 'herd' carries enough immunity to restrict the spread of the disease, for this to work at all the entire vaccination programme has to precede the epidemic.
Cheers Richard.
@Tom that assumption would be correct if in unvaxxed groups the virus causing much higher infection rates and sickness. Problem in the Netherlands and Belgium is that the ratio vaxxed /unvaxxed changed from 20/80 to 80/20 or sometimes 100/0 in some Hospitals within 6 weeks or so.
4 weeks ago our goverment announced stricter rules as infections went skyhigh . And also that unvaxxed were the only ones in hospital. But those numbers were from 3 months before the press conference. In that time situation drastically changed. Despite that our goverment stated higher infection rates and pressure on Healthcare was caused by unvaxxed using 3 months old data. Therefore mps asking the current numbers ...were denied getting them.
So its a big question mark what vaccines do regarding infections etc etc. In my view its not clear.
Good information! I got sick in March 2020 and, not only have I not gotten COVID-19 again, but I literally haven't been sick with anything at all since I recovered.
I appreciate the added commentary by your cat. I love it.
It would be interesting to study, if natural immunity, if acquired from infection AFTER vaccination, is just as robust as the immunity acquired by infection alone or from infection, followd by vaccination. Thanks!
During the Florida global covid summit, Ryan Cole mentions 'the original antigenic sin' where the ability to mount an effective immune response is reduced by prior vaccination. But who knows for sure, in all people? I also heard, in the same talk, that multiple vaccines of spike lead to 'high zone tolerance' where the body sees so much of the stuff it starts to ignore it (the spike antigen).
this was done. They immune levels rose more than 100X, new antibodies appears to every possible variant, and even showed robust immunity to SARS1 that was around 18 yrs ago.
Thats my concern, too. What if you will never be able to establish robust immunity because of a precious vaccination. And what if this vaccination makes you dependant of a never ending cicle of booster shots. Maybe the best is to get natural immunity through infection and getting boostered by natural infections over again? No one seems to care. Especially for kids that might be the best way to go simce they dont get seriously ill anyways. They could get several natural infections until they become adults.

I don't understand this new thing about natural immunity, as if it wasn't always a thing with other diseases in the past and considered just as good as any traditional vaccine for prior diseases.... but now suddenly people are starting to recognize natural immunity though still very limited but this should have been recognized from the start because it's not a new thing, more likely it's on purpose because I just don't see another reason to have treated it this way from the start.

What we need is some data on the Immunity of people have been vaccinated, followed by break through infection, in that order. As this could suggest herd Immunity is possible in the future. Keep up the good work
The swedes did a big study. After six months the effect of jabs may even be negative...
Great reporting, and thanks for sharing
I am pro-vaccine, but I also think that people who have had Covid and have a reasonable amount of antibodies should not be forced to get the vaccine just to continue employment. That is where it’s gone off the rails
The antibody count is not important.
It's the Memory B cells, which when re exposed to a pathogen will produce plasma cells which then go on to produce antibodies against that pathogen.
The vaccines don't produce memory B cells at the same proficiency as natural immunity.
Very cool. I had Covid, with a nasty bit of neuro symptoms too! For that reason I’m not getting the vaxx and I get fired on Monday!

Another confirmation of the fact that natural immunity after infection offers a broad and longlasting protection against the current coronavirus and his variants.
Patients who suffered a SarsCov1 infection in 2003 still had immunological protection against that virus ( and most of them also against SarsCov2 ) after 17 years.

I had 2 years between infections with the second time being very mild. I had covid the first time (undocumented, before it had a name) Dec. 18, 2019 and reinfection (tested pos. but not told it was a variant) + strep throat infection Aug. 21 2021 very mildly sick. I believe strep was already present in my body and bloomed to infection levels due to covid's work of knocking back the immune system via its affect on the blood cells. I am an unvaxed person; I see no point to doing it when I have very strong natural immunity. Thank you Dr. Been for keeping natural immunity a talking point. It's sad that science has taken a back seat to political agendas. I feel we need to hold to account the people that started this deadly business. Where are the deaths then? This "December 2019 US covid" was NOT killing any people, while Wuhan strain was so bad, even several relatively young doctors died?
> I know lots of people who had a "mysterious" respiratory infection in November and December 2019.
why this "December 2019 US covid" didn't spread in US from these "lots of people"? How doctors and relatives managed to NOT pick it up from you and other sick people? Covid spread in US only after it was carried from Wuhan - months later than Dec 2019.

It is important news. I learned about natural immunity in high school biology. It’s good we get this to our esteemed leadership in medicine who seems to have forgotten.
The other recommendation missing here is to build healthy immune system and have therapeutics readily available in case one does get infected.
I would also like to see how many people have innate immunity from having a similar virus, such as the common cold, etc, previously that crossed over into covid immunity.
It would have been interesting to also know if breakthrough infections among the vaccinated that occurred post injection one til two weeks after injection 2 were included since the CDC considers people who contract covid within that time period to be unvaccinated. Pity they injected so many of the covid recovered and destroyed a critical control group necessary for onging and future analysis. We'll never know if that single injection played any role vis a vis reinfection of the unvaccinated.
There are plenty recovered unvaccinated people to do a study.
They would avoid doing it like the plague though.

It isn't that they don't see it's relevance, it is being forced without choice, making things convoluted.
But, also if everyone used the published data logically, we would see certain variables make some people more susceptible to severe outcome to C19.
The difficulty in understanding the arguments, whether your in the group wanting the vaccine, not wanting it, can't have it, or are hesitant, is from the MSM. The MSM has shown great bias, cherry picking data in favor of their sponsor's product, making outrages claims (ie Biden declaring "if you take the vaccine, you won't get C19", or the fact that with/without the vaccine you can still get/ transmit the virus). And MSM censorship of doctors/immunologists/virologists who speak out against the MSM narrative is nothing short of totalitarianism.
I have nothing against a person who for their own health reasons have taken the vaccine, but when that person becomes self righteous, and virtue signals an individual with natural immunity who is taking responsible actions with their own immune health and hygiene in public, then back the F@CK off.
A healthy naturally immune unvaccinated person can actually help protect the herd, but MSM will shove it down your throat we are the ones vaccinated should be mad at. The Elites are pitting us against each other. You are falling for their trap.

I seriously doubt the results will be divulged by the medical heirarchy in the U.S., unless they can find a way to spin the results.
Hello Doctor Mobeen, thank you for the video, I found it interesting.
I do have a question about the interpretation of the data though which perhaps you can answer. In Massachusetts where the study was conducted; from December to February when there would have been the largest number of 'unvaccinated people', there was also the largest amount of community spread. As Massachusetts went into the summer, total levels of COVID in the community also went way way down, at the same time as many of these HCW's status would change from 'Unvaxxed' to 'Vaxxed'. Seeing as Massachusetts case numbers didn't begin to climb until August (almost the end of the study), it seems that this could have a rather large impact in the data, just due to the level of COVID in the community vs the amount of unvaxxed people. Did the study discuss this and factor it into their interpretations?
Thank you for such a clear explanation!
Thank you Dr Been for your expertise and truth!
