My mate has the 6000. I run the sdc. I must say the 6000 blows me away at how stable and powerful it can run and find the smallest of pieces. We recently yielded 14 picker sized peices in a small patch no bigger then 1m2. Most of those targets my sdc struggled to get a threshold whisper but the 6000 was clear as day. What the 6000 now needs is a 8" or 6" coil for tight bushland situations.
Thanks Les. Pretty much what you'd expect if comparing say an 11" DD vs 11" Mono on an earlier GPX. The DD will run a bit quieter, but the mono will give a sharper signal.
@@diggingwithphasetech The first piece was actually quite “large”……….. about .08g. Both coils have the ability to find gold much smaller than that. PS. My mate did not have his SP01 connected as his headphones failed that morning. As you know, the enhancer turns the zed into a totally different beast. In all fairness, neither machine had any enhancement of any kind operating on that test.
Wow the 6 sure did sing on that first bit and I really would have thought the Z would have seen the second bit a little better? Another great vid Les, look forward to catching you out there.
Excellent comparison but was the Z in Normal or Difficult ground setting? Also Z search coil works just as good on 9 Sensitivity and switch between Normal & Difficult to try rule out hot rocks.
The zed sensitivity was on 18. There may have been a slight improvement if it were set to max at 20. I briefly set the sensitivity to auto + which is the max sensitivity on the 6000. It didn’t really improve the first target response at all.
It would have been nice to compare the zed on the target as well as you scraped away on it. The 6000 will trash the zed all day long on those small bits of gold. No comparison. It is where the 6000 shines. Still the Zed for its raw power on the deeper bigger bits. :)

Or an elliptical coil with a sharp nose to get into those tight spots. I hear what you are saying
@@lesgold2132 yeah with pin point edging.
Lets hope coiltek builds us some nice gpx6000 coils soon.
Great work Les, another good comparison keep up the good work. Its good to see some great camera work on this one too.
Well done and interesting results, thanks for the video!
Thanks mate.
Fantastic video unbiased and a real true comparison .

Good point Nenad. I was actually quite impressed with the Nugget Finder coil as those pieces were pretty small.
@@lesgold2132 Yeah agreed. What did the first piece weigh?

Which one of the two detectors is the best for Gold Nuggets ??
If there is larger, deeper gold, use the 7000. For smaller, shallow pieces, the 6000 is the better option.

Thanks Nugs. The 6 screams on the small stuff. You think that a chunk of yellow is going to be unearthed but it turns out to be a spec.
@@lesgold2132 Haha, at least its the right colour👍.
I agree.
Nice Gold, excellent recovery technique.

curious, what threshold were you running on the 7000?
About 26
Would have been nice to see the response on max sensitivity

GPX6000 성능 좋네요
작은 사금까지 잘 잡네요.
저도 써보고 싶네요
The 6000 is the best at small targets

Don't know about anyone else but that sound of Gpz is worst I've ever heard ' My View @WA
Now you know why ML have released the 7000 before the 6000 !!!!!!
Cos they wouldnt've sold many of the 7000 ........
😊
