Big Boy Will back at it with another awesome video! This is definitely one of my favorites from you, there’s not a single truck in here that I don’t like! If I had to choose a favorite it would either be the LE Leach or that MR Autoreach, but all these trucks are just fantastic. That takeoff at 2:33 was music to my ears, and I don’t think I’ve ever seen a kick bar as fast as the one on the LE at 5:07 so that was super neat! Stellar video once again, this is going to the favorites!

Goddamn MRs are underrated. And fast Leaches. And proper commercial RL. And even old Autoreaches, this coming from a non-auto guy. That first shot backing in, then cut to the hopper with the old 2R style light bar, just so damn cool. What an awesome, weird fleet. Those little Cushmans putting around are great, like something out of Italy or India or some shit. The efficiency of the low step in height, out to either side of the truck with the hopper right there is as good as riding the step on a rear loader. But I guess you lose all that saved time though at the transfer into the RL. Recycling driver was really quick considering he's in a regular LHD cab, fuck that. Does Rubatino run different equipment based on the local contract? Would be weird running backdoor service scooters alongside fully automated equipment. Great post Will, first 17 min vid I haven't skipped through probably ever.
3rd time d=trying to respond to this since YT likes to delete my replies :). MRs are definitely the underdog of the 90s-2000s hauling scene. While everyone was gawking over White GMCs, CCCs, and Petes, these things shined. Fast Leaches on fast paced commercial is quite an abstract sight. Glad you enjoyed the intro, I didn't know how to feel about it but kept it in anyways. The Cushmans are EXTREMELY efficient in my opinion. Like you said, pop out and the cart is right there. They're also decently large too, so they can fit a decent amount of trash before dumping. Recycle guy definitely made the best out of a bad scenario, and still hauled a copious amount of ass. I'm pretty sure they just run the Cushmans in the general area of the shop, probably should consult Alan for a solid answer though. Thanks man, means a lot.

@@willthetrashman I have a new employee in the office who was curious how the rear loaders worked vs an overhead and how do the scooters empty into the truck; I am so grateful for the variety of services you captured and being able to show the office staff how hard the guys and their trucks work! Our dual stream recycle is very unique given the area, im so glad you caught that one and showed how diligent the guys are providing service.
Awesome! The cushman's are really cool, but what purpose do they serve, backyard service? The first gen autoreach has me drooling, I love it! Interesting recycling system, does it benifit the rubatino with cleaner recycling? Awesome rear loaders, I love watching rear loaders with dumpsters, even if it's not the most efficient system. Great sound to the trucks featured here. Awesome video!
Thanks. The Cushmans basically go and get all the cans smaller than a 60 so the rear loaders arent stopping as often. I think it’s just easier to sort since they dump at their yard. Thanks again
Sweet video Will! Didn’t dislike a single truck in this video. Super well filmed too. My favorite was probably that LE Leach. Loved the fast kick bar, fast blade, and cool clamps it had. But definitely can’t go wrong with an MR Leach. All of those were cool too. The paint job on that autoreach is sick too. Enjoyed the curbsort too. Haven’t seen a good video of those in a long time so that was refreshing. Nice clippage, Keep up the great work brethren!
