30 years ago, passers-by helped me capture photos of me with Eiffel Tower in the background at around the spot where that Beach Volleyball Pitch is now... What a coincidence 🥇 🥰... I'll treasure those photos even more now 🏆

The Opening Ceremony is it held here or in the Strade de France?
Neither. The opening ceremony will take place on the Seine River in the heart of Paris. But the closing ceremonies (Olympics and Paralympics) will indeed take place in the Stade de France. 😊

The parade of athletes will be held on the Seine River with boats for each national delegation. These boats will be equipped with cameras to allow television and online viewers to see the athletes up close. The river parade will follow the course of the Seine, from east to west over 6 kilometres. 95% of the venues are already existing or temporary. Only 5% were built especially for the Olympics, with the goal to make them reusable after the games
The Eiffel Tower Stadium is a temporary outdoor arena that will stage the beach volleyball event at the Olympics and the blind football event at the Paralympics. It will be dismantled after the Paralympic Games.
