Morning Fallas! As long as they are winning, it should never be an issue. Go Chargers!
"IF your teams not 2--0 I can't relate!"😂😂😂😂 Diabolical Daniel, Diabolical!!!!
He hasn't needed to throw for 300 yards and we're still winning convincingly I see that as a good thing 👏 imagine if they schemed for him to throw for a lot of yards, they might've put up 40 or more last week. I'm thinking with every week he's developing a better rapport with his young receiving core so it should only get better from here imo
Well said man
If I'm keenan allen, I'm taking a big pay cut this off-season and looking to come back to the bolts under this new regime.
Dude is hurt right now and it's barely week 2 , Keenen is getting older and we need a true number 1
Keenan will sign one day contract with bolts after retirement in hopes of HOF but will never play another down in charger uniform
@@shadhansen739 facts
The pass blocking and run blocking has been outstanding. I’m really not use to seeing it. It’s something I’ve been clamoring for since the Philip Rivers era. The passing miscues are due to a new offense and pass catchers. It’s not all Herbert’s fault and will get better.
Burrows, T Lawrence, Lamar and other good QBs are 0-2. Chargers are 2-0 and have a solid team and depth and Herbert doesn’t have to throw 300+ multiple TD get injured and chargering. Keep the faith. It’s a new regime and we’re winning. Boltup!
I really dont get it. Like, I thought we wanted Herbert to not have to carry every phase of the game, Once these Play Actions start popping off the run game they'll be silent soon enough. The league has shifted back to its founding principles. Passing is down league wide. teams are taking away explosive plays; running effectively to set up PA , and controlling the LOS is going to be winning force yet again behind good defense... gotta notice these things,,,
@@Chrism7178exactly! The league is going back to old school. Slug fest in the trenches, establish run and set up Play Action pass. That’s what Harbaugh has always done to succeed I’m glad we got him and redefining ourselves. Don’t let the Power-blue fool ya! 😂💪🏾⚡️🏈
I don't care how many yards he puts up as long as he's not costing us the game and we keep winning💯⚡️⚡️⚡️
When Hebert putting up stats people will be saying. “So he didn’t win” Now he’s winning with lower stats and people start talking his stats only 😅 at least he’s winning right? 🤦♂️
* people maybe.
I praised him/our offense when he played well.
Now I'm saying I'm concerned about the play calling, (and I only watched game 1 fully, highlights for 2) and Herberts play. This does not look like a team that could put up a fight in an AFC championship game, let alone a superbowl. And that is the goal, even if it was only ever realistic for next year.
My biggest concern is that Roman isn't the guy to lead us to a superbowl victory.
@@stephensullivan1011playcalls aren’t bad you got remember they not tryna attack downfield maybe that’s part of the plan but right now they tryna make teams respect the run
Do we need a 50 million QB in this offense is the real question. Put Joe Falco in here you’ll notice nothing.
@@Zetlerstrongly disagree. Every defensive coach knows Herbert can destroy you deep if the opportunity is provided. Flacco causes no such fear. It’s the fear of Herbert that makes him valuable and the run game stronger
It's ok I know the numbers are not as big as they use to be but their playin good football and effective smart play
It should be about winning no matter how, what…stats in my humble opinion are just numbers that some people are so much concerned about, this type of sports 🏈 is a team game, the players are having fun playing and enjoying it.
Young, Unproven WRs, in a new offense. We are going to win behind our Defense and Run game, the passing yardage will increase as Conc and QJ continue ti grows players in the offense. As long as Herbert continue to make the plays that present itself ..Who care how many 300 yard games he has?....AS of right now or Weapons group is not far enough along in this offense yet to expect more than 240 yards on any given good game passing. I told ya last week that Herbert would not exceed 25 pass attempts again this week. Establishing our identity and winning in the process is more important that trying to fast forward the progress of our passing game and Receivers.
Look im happy we won Lets not stroke them though we need a solid #1 receiver and its not QJ and i have yet to see palmer step up is all im saying Its hard watching us throw the ball because our run game eventually will become predictable you could see it happening against the raiders .
Johnston was a first rounder for a reason hes coming along
We'll know more about our team after these next 2 games. If our O-Line keeps playing well it will show a lot but I agree Justin will have to throw for 200yds to pull out a win vs a tough Steeler team. Pitt is 2-0 after 2 road wins -- the crowd will be a factor in their home opener. We go 1-1 these next 2 games we should be looking at our team grabbing a playoff spot.
Wins, only stat that matters, period!
There are still times Herbert and his receivers are still out of sync a bit. There was one incompletation when Justin wanted QJ to turn around. Communication will improve through the season
We winning games! If he throws for 10 yards a game, I could give a shit! Ws baby!
Herbert will be Herbert when we need him to be im not worried i bet he ain’t either as long as we get the W every time
Herbert looks strong and accurate, (except for that ill-advised interception).... that TD to QJ in the endzone was a rocket, right on the numbers .... it's so great to not have to depend on "Justin Hero" to bail the Chargers out at the end of each game
Shout out to Matlock for embracing the fullback position!
And being good at it
Charger fan first Herbert fan second…. If Easton stick was getting us wins I’d love Easton stick
bro herb can throw for 69 yards for all i care as long as the team is racking up wins and competing for the west against KC
Nice
Seriously. These dorks won't stop talking about low passing yards. 😂
People really need to start thinking of this team in terms of those 2010's Steelers team with Bettis. Rothlisberger wpuld throw for 200-250, which is where i think Herbo will settle in to. Every so often he will pop off for 350-400 when needed, though i dont think thats in the cards this year with the recievers and TEs we have.
the defense played all game long last season and Herbert was always fighting for his life till he gets injured just to barely lose to a mediocre team. So honestly I can care less what numbers Herbert is putting up. As long as he is protected and he protects the ball which he already has shown improvement in we should more than good.
My prediction: if chargers win week 3, they win week 4. If they lose week 3, they lose week 4
“Deshaun doesn’t scare me for any on the field reasons” 💀💀💀
NOT concerned about Herbo, BUT, it has been a minute since he has played. I do think when he is given the opportunity, which are fewer, for him to make a play, he seems to be pressing a little, almost like he is trying to make a play instead of just making a play. As he settles in and realizes that he doesn’t HAVE to make a play every drop back, he will get smoother. His passes were tighter and he seemed like his vision was noticeably better against the Panthers. The best example of him pressing is the play that he got rolled up on. No reason for him to do that at that point in the game, trying to make something happen instead of just throwing it away.
The O-line AND the defense also played a little more straight up. There was not anywhere near the pressure packages by the defense as there were against the Faiders. They played pretty straight and still shut them down UGLY. Blocking strategies were not as exotic as a Roman offense either. They have that, will use it, but no need to put it on tape.
The depth that the “experts” said was so thin, played most of the second half for the defense. Starters should be really fresh against the Steelers. What the Titans were thinking giving Molden away for practically free is beyond me and he had the highest snap count for the whole defense against the Panthers.
This game against the Steelers might have a total of 8 possessions, be over in two hours, and end up 9-6. If you were watching, this last game was over 10 minutes or more than almost every other game.
Is Herbert healthy, yes then he's doing things just right!!
We hope he's healthy. Waiting for an update tomorrow. Was limping badly after the game.
If we were losing with these passing numbers i would be concerned. This is only a 2 game sample size and the chargers could have beat the panthers without him throwing a single time.
When Herbo goes for 300 & 3 TD's fans will chill. New offense with different receivers. He'll be fine & we're 2-0...takin this all day ⚡⚡
When a rushing average of 196yds per game, the passing isn’t needed nearly as much. That’s healthy for JH!
People have to understand that he hasn't played in a yr!! And especially ,with Justin missing 3/4 of training camp and learning his 4th Offense and Palmer is playing injred and Chark been out!
I believe we go 4-0 in these next 2 games
has nothing to do with lack of herberts stats. it's when he drops back to throw it looks bad, not effective, he seems lost and making poor decisions, not seeing open receiver. the question is when we go against a Steelers like defense and the run is shut down can we pass and move the ball and score?? at this point I don't think so. and maybe it's not all Justin's fault with average receivers on field.
i told my friends that this will be herberts worst statistical year in his career but itll also be his best, low numbers but efficient, mostly clean football, with an int here and there and overall better team success. sinces he's never had a run game he's always had to be a hero , the ball hogger, like james harden, but now he can be more like chris paul and be the point guard like he said and rely on the run game and his defense to carry some of that load
I do feel like when justin gets a call to pass, he sometimes forces it. Instead of just throwing it away. He cant keep putting himself in danger either.
Agreed! Almost like the mindset of “my time to shine” and he seems to be pressing a little. The run he got rolled up on is a perfect example. I think he was smoother, better vision and more settled against the Panthers. As he gets used to his new reality, he will become more deadly.
That's my point it's not effortless anymore . Its not flowing the same it's not just On Herbert . That first half in both games looked like we were playing to run the clock out like it was 2 min left in the game . passing game looked horrible Big Ass TE's all in each others way.
Forget the stats get the W
Always trust Jim Harbaugh as long as the team wins since he plays old school winning football which is running the ball and play good defense and no turnovers and play physical and two capable running backs where he won with in Michigan beating Alabama and Ohio state plus the WRs on the chargers team are very young and no elite TE
Don’t forget about Nick Herbig… he’s the 2nd best pass rusher on the team
The AFC north is the best division in the AFC last five years and the NFC west is the best in football last twenty years
Jim Harbaugh is the only coach who makes both defense and good on the team which is hard to do and his only flaw is the quarterback selection in college in Michigan first five years
I don’t get the concern. He’s made some big throws and some big plays. From what I saw, he had two bone headed plays. I think 10 needs to realize he has a great coach and a team behind him now and he doesn’t need to be Superman every play. Haters are just going to find any little thing to downgrade our QB.
Chargers fanatics, don’t panic. passing the ball often is a risk. If u don’t need to pass and u r literally dominating other teams on the ground then be patient with the passing game. I think right now the receivers are probably more the problem than Herbert. They aren’t always wear. Herbert expects them to be and they don’t always do what his old receiving cord did to find open spots in the field. They will get this worked out, but in the meantime, just keep destroying other grown men!
I'm not concerned about Herbert. But I am concerned about our receivers.
Exactly WRs can’t get separation they take too long to get open and Herbert is having to run for his life
VS Pittsburgh 13-24 108 yds 1 Int 0 TD 4 sacks
Rivers didn't throw as much his 1st year as starting QB. IMO he's still getting used to his new receivers. Or they're just playing Marty ball
🤘💙💪💙⚡️
Easton Stick can put up the same numbers. We should trade Herbert for more offensive lineman.
No worries. We have Easton Stick at backup.
Compare the stats he has the same average yard per completion and he has a higher pass completion percentage so far, His is not attempting 30-40 throws anymore that why his stats are low
You guys have brought this up before...the only stat I care about is 2-0 Mahomes stats aren't much different ...buy or sell...bringing this up after a win hurts your show? I am buying 😊
It doesn't hurt our show at all.
The charges was a good team last three to four years with bad head coach like the bengals last three years
Jim Harbaugh is like Emma hays the women soccer coach only need less than a moth to win first place in the Olympics who wins in the first year with no rebuilding season which he has done three times in college and two times in the NFL which is very amazing and wasn’t done before and won’t be done again
WHOS GOT IT BETTER THAN US?
Elite? Huge stretch. But he’s making the plays he needs to make now and that’s all.
⚡️⚡️⚡️
Nfl fans don't watch college football. Watch the Michigan football team from last year. This is what the chargers is going to be
Seems like Zion Johnson has been getting no love? He's been dominating in the run game, they run behind Zion, Slater and Matlock most every play. Zion seems to push his guy backwards 3-5 yards more often than not. Run left, run left, run left seems to be their strategy.
Yes, but he has been a little shaky in pass pro at times. He will get better.
TJ watt is a league above cosby
steelers will be a 50/50 game and we are gonna get rocked by kc after those games that's when we can evaluate
Why do you think the Chargers are gonna get rocked by KC?
You not one of us talking like that 😤⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️
@@OgDuragSensei92 delusional? yeah im not we beat two trash teams with bad o lines and terrible QB play
@@Kyle-cb8xv wtf are you even talking about I think you should read my comment again
I am not on board with what you are saying. This receiveing group is just not good, it is one of the worse in the league. The teams we play starting in Pittsburg will not allow you to run the ball and i just don’t think these receivers we have can get the job done. I have watched all the routes and these guys don’t get open and just don’t look very good.
We'll find out if what your saying has any merit in a few days.
@@LockedOnChargers We found out today like i said. Justin Herbert put up giant numbers with worse line play and average receivers. This Greg Roman offense is the worse in the league and won’t win in this modern day football. We have no talent at the receiver or tight end position and an offense that can’t succeed even with a healthy Herbert. I watched Andy Dalton light up the Raiders today and score 36 points in Las Vegas. Is Andy Dalton better than Herbert? Is Carolina more talented than the Chargers? It is an offense that is useless and Harbaugh should have just traded Herbert and draft McCarthy if this is what he wanted to do.
Please beat the Steelers Go Chargers
Yes they are.
Greg Roman's offense blows. Below average imo. Average at best.. And that's not good enough for a potential superbowl team.
Ugghhh
“Coaching”
2-0 why would u worry? Sheesh
Mahomes threw for 150 yards last week
These dudes keep talking about low throwing yards. Last week they sounded like critics. Chargers keep winning, and now these dudes get the Harbaugh style. All of a sudden.
Completely missed the assignment. Ppl are not worried about Justin Herbert. We are worried about how terrible the interior pass pro of the oline is. How bad the TE room has been and how bad this WR room is. Nobody should feel comfortable if we get put in a situation where we HAVE to throw the ball
The charger will lose to the Bengals and the Ravens
