The guide is only trying to keep your interest up. The drum in Strawberry Fields wasn't used on the cover of Sgt. Peppers. The Cavern was filled in to allow for a ventilation shaft for Merseyrail underground that wasn't built. The original Cavern, no 8 Mathew Street, is further down the street, approximately where the Cilla Black statue stands. I was 15 when I went to the Cavern lunchtime sessions and watched John, Paul, George, and Pete, before Ringo joined. I was in the audience when Brian Epstein came to see them for the 1st time and watched the first session with Ringo as the new drummer. I saw them a total of 68 times. I'm now 78 and my mind is as sharp today as it was them. They'll never be forgotten ❤
I’m a long time Beatles fan myself. My first album was Rubber Soul. I’m 62 and wished I would have seen them. I envy your experience and am saddened that the interest in the best band in history is fading. I teach history in high school and whenever possible play Beatles music in class. Only about 10 percent of my students know about the Beatles. I loved your story and you have an amazing history only few can share. Thank you for sharing, long live the music of the Fab Four. 🙂
i live 2 streets away from ringos home and see these tours everyday.....amazing to think that over 50 years later people from all over the world come to my city to pay homage to the greatest music band of all time ,,,,,,,thank you and i hope you enjoyed liverpool and its people
That’s amazing. I have been a fan since I was a kid in the 60’s. I like that you are not bothered by all the fans. Unfortunately the fan base is getting smaller. I teach history and I have students that never heard of The Beatles, so sad. Thank you for watching and we really enjoyed Liverpool the people were so friendly. Long live the Fab Four.

It was John who checked out the girls at Strawberry Fields, not Paul. John wrote the song. Thanks for the video.
The tour guide told us, it was Paul not John. Thank you for the clarification. I hope you enjoy the video.
What a great feeling it would be to say you sang at the Cavern Club.
🤨🤔I don’t think so if I say I sang at Cavern Club at this video. I don’t even can sing 🥴
I rode the MMT bus the one that appears in free as a bird video , I had a lovely time , love England love Liverpool love the beatles !!!
I’m so glad that you had a lovely time. Me as well, as the Beatles fans, I really enjoy the tour! And the city🙂

Thank you, what a great tour, it's heartbreaking there's only one original Beatle left however their music will last forever.
I’m glad that you enjoyed the tour. The Beatles will always be the legend. 😊
It was a great video, thanks for taking us on the journey. In America, I guess people visit Graceland and Sun Studio.
I’m so glad that you enjoyed the video. Maybe someday I can go to visit Graceland & Sun Studio too! 😃
Great vid but historically inaccurate
You are welcome to correct them in the comment. 😊
