Nice video Paul. Lambo is immense, but it’s sad to see you suffering with your GTI. I had a few problems with mine over the first 3 months but the last 3 have been luckily fault free. Hope this is the only issue 👊
It costs the same to fill my tank up but will last me at least 4-5 days while this will last 45 minutes
well you dont drive it 4-5 hours on one day do you so you can make it last 4-5 days ^^.

Great video, really enjoyed that. I drove a Ford GT for a few days once, that was very intimidating to drive - really wide and LHD too. Great presence on the motorway though, everyone just dives out of your way!

I've always been impressed by the UK's Bee Roads. In California we have roads that vary from very good to pothole filled nightmares. But we have no roads designed to protect small flying insects.
I imagine bee roads are why British drivers prefer agile cars like the hot hatches, Lotus, McLaren 600LT and so on. British drivers of performance cars are also great at deliberate oversteer and drifting so the little bees don't get stuck in the front grill.
B roads - wish they were somehow related to bees ahaha
Ha ha. They don't particularly protect insects as there are enough straights when British drivers will want to accelerate.
As for oversteer: occasionally, but with narrow roads you only need to get it slightly wrong and you're in the hedge don't forget. Hot hatches are easier to unstick but they're FWD and most now have electronic handbrakes.
The most interesting British lanes aren't B roads in my opinion, but the ones that don't even have a number. Those are not for the Aventadors of this world. They would probably be gravel and much much straighter in the US.

Does it drive much different to the S? Like if i buy an S and drive an Ultimae some day will i hate myself for not paying more for the Ultimae?

its crazy that the GTI already shows some problems.
this absolutely should not happen that early, its a brand new car and normally VW's are known for their reliability.
just shows that these newest cars tend to be overengineered on the mechanical/electrical side.
i reckon that affordable daily driver cars of this current era when they will approach 12-15 years of age will be way more maintenance heavy than cars are today that a now 12-15 yrs old. simply because those were not that complicated.

such a shame, that cought also my eye. Over 400 thousand euros for the car, over 20 thousand for the paint and you get that kind of paintjob

the 2022 VW models, whether its a golf or polo have been proven to have numerous software malfunfions in SA. I am not sure if you are also having a similar issue, but there is definately something that is going wrong there

Lol I payed £150 for a tank of fuel gone through half a tank in a few hours 😂😂 my old m5 v10 had the same sized tank as that lambo so I know how frequently you’ll be filling up .
If the gti is tuned the gearbox failure warning means nothing.
Unfortunately Lambos and Ferraris too wide for the roads you can have fun on in U.K. Great cars that end up being driven round city centres for posing .

That’s the beauty (and the horror) of driving exotica such as this Lambo Aventador - be it Ultimae or not. These cars are not made for the majority of european roads, let alone any kind of city trafic. So, exclusivity apart, where is the pleasure in driving them ? Sizewise, a Huracan is the right choice, as would be a Porsche 992, a Jaguar F-Type or Ferraris, Maseratis and McLarens of similar dimensions. Anything bigger is looking for trouble.
They’re probably gonna change the chip remap it so it’s a little bit more suitable for the road and if you’re driving it on the street it’s probably better cause I’d be able to handle those speeds

Gear box problem with the VW GTI and it’s brand new ,I would take this as a warning, and flick it the first chance you get, to me they look pretty boring ,it’s like wearing an ill fitting suit , it doesn’t fit you’re image mate, I’m sure you could do better, enjoy your videos keep up the good work

Lamborghini's "Even thinner tires than last year" is ridiculous. Bent rims are the plague. Why can't supercar makers stop with 35 profile tires? Do they need to make them paper thin?

Because it’s a truck car so it’s not mapped to drive around slow in any means so if you drive it slow for too long it’ll break down You’d have issues that’s what I mean I’d be more suitable for the street

Vw are a joke when it comes to helping you out with a fault on volkwagen car for warranty. I had several faults with a 2017 r I had a few years ago. I ended up selling the car because they damaged it under their possession whilst getting it serviced. They were not admitting liability until I found on the Internet that you have 28 days from when a company had your property I.e my car that if they have cctv of the said vehicle by law they need to provide you with it all blurring other peoples faces out and their property. Once I asked for this they replaced the parts they had damaged whilst under there possession at the service centre.
why drive in those places seems like too much of a risk on your part
