Thank you to all the cast and crew of Dickinson and especially Ella, Hailee and Alena for imortalising the lives of the real Emily Dickinson and Sue Gilbert, and introducing them a younger audience. Season three was everything I could have hoped for, it was funny and entertaining while still maintaining the emotion in each episode.
oh and thank you for not ending tragically, we don't need more of that trope.

Her evolution is palpable, her range improving with each scene she’s in really stood out to me this season. I remember her mentioning it was Hailee who pushed her to explore new spaces and it fucking worked. I can’t wait to see her in Lady Chatterley’s Lover!

@@odessaaubry8681 It is a feature film based on a very popular novel. It’s about a well off woman who falls out of love with her husband and begins an affair with the estate gatekeeper. Ella will play her new best friend/neighbor. Saw bts pics from when she and Emma were filming in October and the costumes are great. Poor Ella isn’t getting rid of period dresses any time soon haha! I highly reccomend you read the book, it’s amazing!
I love Dickinson so much feeling really sad that it ended today but what Alena Smith has done with Emily Dickinson's story is just amazing and beautiful.
Hailee steinfeld was born to play Emily Dickinson the whole cast Ella,Anna,Adrian,Tobby,Jane everyone made a memorable show lots of love to them.
The look Sue gives Emily when they are sitting is just beautiful. She got what she wanted. Emily showing her she wanted her not just with words.

Honestly, I'm obsessed with your video. It amazes me how perfectly you pictured the slow burn of their relationship. it is so poetic and romantic, as delicate as one of Emily's poems. Hailee and Ella's scenes as Emily and Sue are full of emotions and sexual tension that I refused to believe that both of them are straight. It conveyed emotions beyond their characters. It all came down to a conclusion when Ella came out as queer. I think in a way Hailee and Dickinson helped her love herself more.

I love this show - like it's completely unhinged but rooted in real characters really going through stuff. I will say, though, that the ending didn't feel all that satisfying to me (probably in large part because it kinda pissed me off that Emily never actually went and talked to Higginson after the big deal he made about wanting to meet her).
God I'm so glad someone else mentioned that, it made me so sad to imagine Higginson and Emily's entire family just sitting there until they just give up
