- We tracked down X-factor's forgotten viral legend. The man behind the best audition in the history of Xfactor. Danyl Johnson. As creators, we are always curious about the impact of virality. What happens when one of your videos go viral? Is there a darker truth to fame? And is virality really worth chasing? We had a lot of questions for Danyl Johnson. After 13 years from his performance on Xfactor, what is he up to? how did that moment impact his life? We were surprised to learn that there was a darker side to X-factor that few people know about. I know Danyl personally and I can undoubtedly tell you he is a humble, caring, loving, genuine, awesome guy.
I never knew him off the X factor or Postcode Lottery, I met him through friends and after chatting all night with him at a party I never imagined I would be calling him a friend.

Loved Danyl's story.. at least he escaped the nightmare of the frustrating, UK/English education system. I gave up a whopping 588 subs.🤣for a channel with only 19.. & love having more freedom to "mess about".🙃

They have ways that are really dark and out of this world, those big tv shows in the world surely are weird! Yeah it was really interesting to hear about his experience on the show. At the end of the day Danyl is super grateful for Xfactor as it opened so many doors for him...but like everything, it wasn't all sunshine and rainbows 😅 Glad you enjoyed the video Trish 💛

Hey guys, thank you for this insight. I searched the net to see what happened to Danyl after this audition. I, too, was looking for the reasons he did not get famous filling stadiums with his music. But your video showed me the importance of the well-being instead of fame.
Danyl is such a decent guy. Looking for the well-being of his inner instead of the effects to the outside.

The treatment you got on X factor was appalling. Danni Minogue is dead to me. Outing someone is the lowest of the low and her actions have consequences. She could have chosen not to do that. Sorry just doesn’t cut it.
