Beautiful Picture and Love always the history that goes with it. Thanks again for me to be able to see things i have never seen. God Bless from Snowy Kansas🥰
Hi Steve, Monterrey Bay is stunning ! Always enjoy learning about points of history of your travels.😊 My, the sound of the waves is great therapy, the back ground music adds that special something. Thank you.xo Take care.xo❤😊.
Are you a Sunset or Sunrise person, Teresa? I'm a Sunrise guy. The Ravishing Mrs. Ritter prefers Sunsets, probably because she finds it easier to "stay up" versus "getting up." LOL!
I love watching the waves on the beach. Thank you for that momentary tranquility. I appreciated that very much! 😊 I hope you both had a great time and enjoyed the ambiance. ❤
That’s awesome thanks for sharing with us and so happy that you both are enjoying your time together . Wishing you blessings and a Very Merry Christmas 🎄

Hi Stephen. Love California. Been to several places but never Monterrey. There was a Movie named Cannery Row starring Nick Nolte and Debra Winger. Great Movie. Shot on Location. Thanks for this video
Awesome video, Steve, and I loved the audio with the waves. That certainly was a gorgeous sunrise. Hope you and your family had a blessed Thanksgiving day. ❤
My ex's first duty station was FT. ORD ,CA We lived on David Ave. Monterey. 1983.. It was a beautiful place to live. Money was so tight; rent was high but the ocean and surrounding free. Loved it. thank you so much for the trip down memory lane,

Greetings Colonel. I remember staying near Cannery Row in 1967. What an interesting place it was. There were still abandoned fish treatment facilities and the town still had a decidedly strong fishy smell. What a fascinating weekend we had. I was part of a college group researching Steinbeck.
Since they stopped over-fishing, have the sardines made a comeback? I imagine lots of sea life -- as well as humans -- depended on sardines for food. The Monterrey Aquarium is a must see -- would love to go back and spend a leisurely afternoon there. Seeing puffins "fly" underwater was amazing.
wow! Thanks for sharing!
Gorgeous pics!! Thanks for the history of Monterrey Bay canneries. ♥️🙏🏼♥️
Thanks for taking us along on your trip. Loved the end with the waves in particular.

One of my favoritest places in the world and Steinbeck is the best American writer.

I have been to Monterey many years ago. Carmel is another nice place. Clint Eastwood has a restaurant there in Carmel. I had nice memories there.
This was like bumping into an old friend at the beach. 😉

California coast is hard to beat.
I agree! I think it's the waves on the rocks. We don't have much of that here in South Carolina. Just mostly sandy beaches.
Praise God for his love without end!🙏♥️🙏♥️🙏
Beautiful and interesting place!! Thank you for sharing!

Maybe it would be cool if you could do pacific coast waves asmr. Real waves. Seems authentic people and waves aren't easy to find nowa days. . . JS
Thank you
You spelled the city name wrong. It is Monterey. The one with two r’s, Monterrey, is in Mexico.
