I got the baton 2 s2 or whatever had it about a month .. was on the fence about this .. once I saw you put it on your hat and how well the clip handled sold it for me the question I had about that you answered I thank you sir
I just ordered this yesterday. I’m putting together a new EDC bag that has a bit of everything. I’ve never purchased a good flashlight before and this one was recommended to me. Not knowing the company I was a bit skeptical, but thanks to your video I’m really excited to get this in my bag
Once lights hit 1000 lumens I just don't see the need for anymore for edc. Battery life and form factor are the main things I look for at this point. The proprietary battery and cable kill it for me.
@@GarnettTools What do you mean it's not proprietary!? Why don't you try using a standard 18650 battery in the light and see if it works. It won't. The Baton3 Pro has to have both the positive and negative connection on the same end of the battery.

I own the S1R Baton 2 and I love it!
I’m actually thinking about buying the Baton 3 also.
It is a great light. I went with the "CW" cool white version. 😎👍

Yeah unfortunately the cable is specific but the battery is just a button top 18650, it's not really proprietary

Yeah, well shit, I've been wrong before, you're right, it doesn't work with standard button tops, so yes it's proprietary
