- A 2000 documentary on the history of the Higgins Boats, the landing crafts used on D-Day and every other major amphibious invasion during World War II. These LCVP (Landing Craft, Vehicle, Personnel) boats were designed and built by Andrew Jackson Higgins and his company, Higgins Industries, in New Orleans. This documentary also follows the construction of an exact replica of a Higgins Boat using the original plans by former Higgins Industries factory workers, World War II veterans, and other volunteers under the guidance of Lieutenant Jimmy Duckworth of the U.S. Coast Guard. The replica boat is now on display at the National World War II Museum in New Orleans. Narrator: Don Summers
