Virtual Riot is the only one improving in 2012/13 dubstep. Everyone else in my opinion just went over the top.

MaxatorCZ well being depressed can be classified as a mental illness or disorder, so to simply say that depression is directly correlated with living in the past is very ignorant. Even depression that isn't clinical, still can be related to something other than the past. Please get educated.
As far as I know depression develops overtime and that is usually somehow related to past but of course this is just a sentence said by a chinese philosopher and is probably meant generally I'm sure he didn't mean to make light of depression it's just something that you can think about. I have depression and anxiety (clinically diagnosed by psychologist, psychiatrist, doctors, and therapists). Specifically, I have generalized anxiety disorder and social anxiety disorder. (Yes, I'm aware there are different types of depression, and depression itself is a mood disorder). Anyways, the truth is. Your anxiety and depression can often make you constantly worry about your past and what you did wrong in the past and what went wrong with the past. Anxiety usually makes you worry about your future and makes you constantly anticipating, worried, restless, terrified, or unsure of the future. It's true, people who are at peace and have gotten mental help are thinking about the present. They are thinking about NOW. Now, depression and anxiety are complex mental disorders and they're debilitating on all sorts of levels. Often times, depression makes people feel hopeless, bored, empty, fatigued, as if everything is pointless, it's lead to self-loathing and very pessimistic/cynical/nihilistic worldviews. Depression is painful. Whilst anxiety makes people feel stressed, anxious, fearful, afraid, nervous, anticipated, restless, alert, can make you irritated, makes you way more self-conscious, makes you doubt yourself, etc. But, this person who made the quote is correct.
Now what IS ignorant, is to say that simply focusing on the present will magically solve literal mental illnesses. NO, it doesn't'. Getting real mental help and getting a better support system IS what helps. To anyone reading this, dealing with mental illnesses. Please know that you're not alone and that you're going to be ok one day. Please take your meds, talk to a loved one, take care of yourself, remember tools your therapist taught you, etc. You are not alone. You are not bad. You deserve to heal.

TheDropYouNeed As much as I like the drop of a song, I never skip to the drop part. The wait and the excitement is what makes the drop. Skipping the build up parts takes out the fun from the drops.
