I bought some clutch weights only to find out two of them were precisely what they should weigh and the other one was .9 g heavier . Would it still be okay to use or would that cause damage to the motor due to the possible wobble from not being balanced
Not wise to run out of balance.
would these arms and weights be beneficial for a stock utv with larger tires and wheels? im lookin g for something to help with the primary puting more clamping force on the belt...
if your belt is slipping all you need to do is adjust your belt tension using your secondary clutch
More weight will help your primary clutch put more tension on the belt, I’m sure it’s too late but in case anyone else needs the answer
I have the Snyper kit for a 900s. It comes with a bunch on Allen screws . You don't explain the Allen screws
If you go to the product listing on our website you should find a link to clutch setup sheets. within that document you have charts to use the magnets and set screws to setup your weights for different machine setups
@BikemanPerformance the only sheet that I see for the 900s is showing 1 weight #1, 2 weights #2. Nothing about the tungsten weights and set screws. I see videos for the snowmobiles. Are the set screws and tungsten weights not used for the 900s? Also running 30 inch tires it says to remove 1 weights. Going by the chart there are 3 weights total . 30 inch tires will make it 2 weights? Sorry for all the questions .
Sorry it says set screw. Medium at the heel. Am I just screwing in the longer of the 2 set screws into the weight and how far do I screw it in
@@kjsmolik yeah if you go to the setup sheet, its page 31. (Heel) refers to the piviot of the weight where it mounts to the clutch sheeve. (to the tip) is of course screwing it in all the way until it stops

Lol can't believe it took 2 years for a smart-ass comment. No I didn't watch it l know how they work I just lost my paper work and was looking for a easy answer.
This is just over complicating aftermarket clutching.
We have setup sheets for every clutch weight me make. These kits cover a base line but also fine tuning capability for rider style.
It's called clutch tuning
