@Christina Bonvillian She didn't lie here. Amber loved that child and when Becky died she asked Amber and CJ to raise him. Blood isn't the most important part when it's about a parent loving her child.
@Christina Bonvillian She lied initially to Rick that it was their baby. (She had a miscarriage) the baby's mom was her cousin who didn't want the baby. So she asked Amber and her boyfriend CJ to raise it.

Because Brooke didn't allow it and wanter to erase the fact that Deacon is Hope's father. She wanted Ridge to take on the role of daddy
