Iced Rooibos Red Latte

Recipe developed by Vernon and Simóne, who are Vegan Lifestyle Bloggers from The Leaf Eaters in collaboration with red espresso®.
This is a delicious beverage fo the upcoming weekend! Whether you want to zone out with a good book or watch the latest series on Netflix, it is always better with a delicious drink on hand.
This iced Rooibos café-style drink totally does the trick for us. It is caffeine-free, absolutely delicious and totally makes you feel like you are sitting in a chic café.
While it seems that summer is slowly saying goodbye we are still clinging to our summertime drinks. Luckily we know when winter comes we’ll still be sorted with cosy warm drinks using red espresso®.

RECIPE:
INGREDIENTS
🌿 2 tbsp red espresso® Rooibos
🌿 1 1/4 cup filtered water, just below boiling point
🌿 Sweetener of choice (optional)
🌿 4 - 5 cubes of ice
🌿 1/2 cup Alpro roasted almond milk, frothed
🌿 non-dairy whipped cream to top

PREPARATION
1. Scoop the red espresso® Rooibos into a french press cylinder, then fill with hot water and stir gently
2. Let brew for 2-3 minutes and then press down the plunger slowly
3. Decant the brew of Rooibos into a long glass filled with ice
4. Stir in the @alpro milk and top with non-dairy whipped cream.
5. Enjoy chilled.
