- First OSRS guide, bear with me :-) Hope this helps some fellow irons or players on a tighter budget.

Why do i have to bring two ropes with me to enter?
I believe if you don’t have the hard diary done you will have to bring two ropes for the entrances

Thank you! I screwed up my first run (wrong attack style), so I was out of food by the time I got into the second form. But I tele'd out and was able to come back and finish the job. FYI for anyone doing diary, this can be done if necessary

Great video!!! Another tip I personally used is to get a bone dagger p++ and use its spec on her. it lowers her defense for both phases when it hits and has a chance to poison.
Nice idea! Depends how you want to use specs. Also using the lightbearer here would be helpful if you have one

Two tips i got from other guides that make this even better: 1. you can melee her the whole kill when using keris partisan, no need to bring range. 2. definitely try flinching! you can stay there much longer when doing so. Edit: Forgot to mention, you can also use thralls :)

It's probably pretty negligible. I think the most important is the Partisan for the possible crit hits
Thralls could be helpful here if not using vengeance. I don't know which one is better.
Yeah good idea. I’d assume most people have access to thralls vs veng so those might be more accessible to use
Dosn't work with runecross bow diamond bolt (e), hit 10 zeros in a row, (94 range and 95 def) used all food plus sara brews had to tele out

I went back with full sarabrews and couldn't even get to the second phase, it seems she's hitting with range, constant 30's I can't even sip through the dps.
94 mage, 95 def, 94 range.
using nearly the same gear as you except glory, and not on slayer task. Maybe it's only possible with the +20% slayer boost with the helm.
@@david-Davidson hmm yeah the slayer helm prob helps. Even with running under the boss you aren’t landing hits with eagle eye on?
You can also try mage if the ranged isnt working out

Yeah until Scythe or Fang I believe partisan will be the best solely because it can hit critical hits

Yeah would likely help. If trying to camp as long as possible i’d say thralls + anglerfish and brews would be good. After making this, I also got a bowfa and you can actually shoot one dart with the blowpipe and then switch to bowfa and shoot again to get a 2:1 on KQ before walking back under. Doing that I was able to manage 3-4 kc per trip and I’m guessing that more could be possible. You may also be able to extend trips using the sun keris and healing off the minions after each kill to save on food.
wow! Thank you for the information. Though I don't believe the sun keris would work. I am pretty sure that the only partisan gem that works outside of ToA is the breach of the scarab.

@@TheSandFoxx you might be right honestly, I haven’t tried the sun keris outside of TOA. I know for sure the spec wouldn’t work but not sure about the passive. In that case I’d say to probably prioritize bringing anglers and brews+ restores for heals but yeah the blowpipe into bowfa method is very nice for getting extra hits and saving supplies.

You could but I would recommend using the partisan if you can, it’s really OP

I just tried KQ for the first time and got absolutely clapped me twice. Idk if I'm too low level or what but I ran out of food both times barely into the second round. She out DPS's the fuck out of me. On the bright side, she apparently died to the poison from my blowpipe because I got my diary notification while I was preparing for my next attempt at the bank lmao
Haha! bittersweet victory. She deals a ton of damage, the fight can be a bit of rng for sure

Tbh not sure. Could also try slayer dart or tome of fire w/ highest level fire spell

What are your stats and gear?
p.s. this spear is not as good as the barrelchest anchor
you still have to trade 1 hit per 1 hit and it does less damage total than a big slow crush weapon. 1 hit walkunder 1 hit is still best method unless you guys got better gear than me lmao (toros, dh legs, glory, str ring, fire cape etc. very basic stuff)
yes it can hit that big 100. but thats what 1/50? idk
ya its budget KQ for ironmen just do raids 3 500 times until you get the jewel to let it work outside of raids

was scary most of the time towards that last bit of HP lmao
i also used karil cbow btw which is an actual budget blowpipe
@@gazascuba9137it’s not a jeweled partisan, just the default quest one haha. At the time I recorded this I had only done an entry TOA for the thread upgrade. As for the blowpipe you can substitute that for a rune crossbow. My blowpipe only had mithril or addy darts anyway so it’s about the same strength but a bit faster kill time.
Yeah no jeweled partisan used here, just the quest version. Definitely understand the gripe about the blowpipe so can use Kbow, RCB or MSB even!
