Wspaniale widzieć produkty z Polski na Twoim kanale, Dimitri! Really, awesome, to see polish products on your channel, but one thing bugs me out, is there any probability that this metal gpu backplate may short out gpu pcb somehow, if it doesn't have its own backplate?
well its made by two dudes. not a big company with Chinese relations and really thin steel etc. its pretty quality. we're used to everything being made by machines or under VERY cheap labor. (like less than $1/hr) where people in developed countries demand at elast $10-$20/hr hopefully that clears things up.
You have to use something like a Pico PSU or HDPLEX HiFi 250W PSU in the case, with a laptop power brick powering it because there's no room for a traditional PSU. I wish it had two USB on the front like the Sentry. My intent is living room gaming rig, so plugging two controllers in front would be nice!
There have been more and more of this style of case being reviewed however almost no one does thermal performance which in my mind is the most important aspect when considering if it's too much of a compromise to get the small form factor gaming pc. So please break the trend and do more in depth thermal testing for mini itx cases!
It's a good start but there are more questions that can be answered. A big one for me is that modern gpu's will push up their boost clock as high as the chip and the thermals will allow often greatly exceeding the minimum boost specified on the box. For example my GTX 1070 will boost up to 2000mhz despite only being rated for 1873mhz. It's interesting to compare if a gpu can achieve maximum boost (not just the minimum boost in it's specifications) in both a standard atx box or a small itx case like this one. I'd also want to know what cases have the best options for cooling and how the cooling can be optimised. For example, does adding better fans improve the performance or is the design of the case flawed in such a way that it makes minimal or no impact? What about blower vs non blower design fans? If I need to get a blower style cooler in order to achieve good performance that's something that's nice to know for sure before purchasing. Are there any manufacturers who have come up with anything extra that can enable better cooling? What about the types of cpu coolers that can fit in these cases and do they make much of a difference over the stock cooling? It's good to look at the case in isolation when you're doing a review like this, but we all know that systems are a composite of their parts and some cases play nicer with the other components than others.
Like wow, you know the most common swear in Polish and you pretend like you know shit. Same for "suka bljat idi ty nahuj" in Russian. It kinda pisses me off when people do that.
Le Potato I typed it in Polish pronunciation, also "cyka" isn't right as the cyrillic letters mean "suka". Dumb hamburgers don't know how to be a slav jebanyj sabaka bljat ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
You're in luck, they have a white version planned out too, it's just that they ran the first reviewer prototypes all in black and will offer both options when they go up for sale.
I think this is review case day. This is the 6th review I've seen in my sub box on a case. And it's the only one to not be a fractal define mini C case.
This was very interesting. I think your feedback was very constructive. Clearly they have worked hard on this design and I love the hand-manufactured look. I'd like to see a follow up review in the next 12 months or so if they decide to include dust filters and find better fasteners.
This case is awesome. Same volume as Silverstone Milo series ITX cases, but you can fit a full sized, dual slot card, and up to 12"! The Milos only have half height expansion slots (1 on some, 2 on some), and a single full sized slot. Fitting a much more powerful system into the same space is impressive
You can put 2 2.5" drives inbetween the mobo/PSU and the GPU, but they have to be 9.5mm thick. There's also a bracket to mount more 2.5" drives next to the GPU if you use an ITX size graphics card.
patiently waiting for this case. I can't wait for this thing. I've had an nCase m1 v2 as I missed the v1 by a week. I can't wait to get my hands on this thing and build a system in it.
Not a bad case, but to be fair, while the DAN-Case A4 SFX is a littlebit bigger, it looks much nicer, is made from aluminium and manufactured by LianLi. Also the QUality seems better.
Hans Tang hi! Yes r9 nano was working very well in s4 mini especially with front mesh design..:) But now I fell in love of msi gaming x cooler ( cool and quiet) so I'm updating my gaming setups in that way.. :) I'm aiming at compromise compact/easy assembly maintenance/ noise / cooling/ sfx psu . s4 mini will remain my mobility, cooling and style king (noise and pico psu were the issues from my personal point of view)..:)
It sucks I missed out on this. I'm glad it well for the company. Their goal was $19,500.00 and they raised $222,388.00. Two years in development paid off. Pretty cool little case.
I have a node 202 build with a Gtx 1070 in it. Runs really well. About the same temp this guy running a 1060 in this case idk what specs he was running at but I ran it at 1440p on highest possible just to test it. It's nice for a travel buddy but I still run my main rig with my 1080. PS my cable management sucked in my node 202 🤣🤣
I don't know what camera Linus uses but your camera and videography skills is significantly better in my opinion props to you my friend! ps great review mate!
Legend has it that dimitri will reply if your this early. I love the video btw! Woot woot! Shout out to the notification squad and the ones who were there even before!
I'm happy with my midtower case which offers plenty of space for efficient cooling after overclocking the CPU and GPU. To me this case would be useful if you're lugging your PC around a lot and want something that's easy to carry, otherwise it's just an aesthetic unit for people who prefer looks over performance.
JCTiggs I feel the same. I'm not giving up my sexy mid tower for anything. I wouldn't mind a decent gaming laptop to go with my tower though, but that's just me being greedy.
I think its quite elegant and it looks great on top of the desk. That being said, I'm quite happy with my spacious mid-tower Graphite 600T. All of the room in the world, and it runs so much cooler, and with the stock 200mm intake and exhaust fans and a 120mm push-pull all-in-one cooler I have these temps: i7 4790K Idle: 30°C Load: 57°C EVGA GTX 970 SSC Idle: 36°C Load: 53°C
Avalon Joshua You might be surprised how much heat a solid block of milled copper with a vapor chamber can dissipate! There's actually a number of 140 Watt rated low profile heat sinks intended to fit in 1U or 2U server racks, which are even thinner than this case.
Very nice case indeed! I would love to have a Dr. Zaber eGpu case similar (but smaller) to that. That will fit perfectly with my LG Gram 17's Thunderbolt 3.
To expensive. Not enough cooling options. And the fact its been in dev for 2 years, and its not even finished? Still another 6 months. NO WAY. 3 minutes to take off the first panel? Lol gtfo
with a case that small you are gonna have to give up some features if you really NEED to save some space. But yeah its not that great if you don't really care how big or large it is.
We have to hate just everything someone else makes on internet these days, eh?. This is a specific niche product. Not satisfied? Go design and kickstart your own so we`ll see how many people like it :D.
its handmade, its not all that simple to bend mental in the ways you want, you could probably not do it with instructions unless you've been taught to do it. not to mention how its steel and powder coated. its not meant to be opened and closed all the time, go and complain about how a ps4 takes 5 min to open and close. you're supposed to do it once. obviously this is supposed to be a console alike case, it takes a long ass time to finetune small stuff. at 7 liters every single cm counts. a i5 6600 would probably keep quite cool in a build like this. i'm shocked you didnt even complain about not having a 3.5" slot anywhere or a slim cd rom :^) you sir, must be a troll, that complains about everything that is expensive but not as good as something else.
It was design to be ONLY SMALL in the FIRST place. its not FOCUSING on cooling, drives compability all those thing. How hard is it to understand slim ITX theme.
HardwareCanucks also congratulations on the new studio, its been quite a journey, been here ever since you shit videos in he balcony table. Keep up the amazing work, hope you get a million soon, you really deserve it !
mITX markets are very small. This is a community driven project too so it's not like they're working with or can afford the resources large companies have. Give it time and another option will be available for cheaper.
CaradenM Okay, make it a 1070. Still, no laptop will come even close. Maybe one of those beasts with desktop CPU and GPU that cost north of $4000, but any normally priced laptop won't.
I've been watching this case on the LinusTechTips forum for a bit during its development, and it's super exciting to see it being reviewed! Definitely agree with the dust filtration recommendation, but maaaaaan, other than that this would make for an awesome console-sized PC! Maybe pair it with more power-optimized parts, like the T series of Intel chips, as well as with a solid blower-style GPU?
Few scythe coolers would fit there for sure. As for the gpu - 1050ti is awesome for such small case since its low on power consumption and a very cold card.
yesterday I build a Pc for my friend in a Node 202, now he has a i5 6500, 16GB RAM, a GTX 1060 6GB, a 500GB SSD, a 1,5TB HDD all on a Gigabyte b150 Phoenix His old Pc had a Core2 Duo E8500, a GTX 650 1GB, 4GB RAM, a 500GB HDD and was just so slow ... now he can play every Game and his Desk has much more Space :) I myself own a Define R5, but now I'm a Little Bit jealous when i See his ITX Pc :D
you clearly don't realize the effort put in this case. and as he mentioned in the video its production process is not fully automatic and it's bend by workers. it's a reasonable price for such a case in my opinion
i share your concern about dust... after NEVER cleaning my PC after 6 years of owning 2 birds who's cages were right above the PC... the dist in there was frightening... i have started to filter my intakes because my PC looked like a chickens lived in it. and also my bird is much farther away lol
I think it is nice. GPU temps are higher though. My 11.5L Sugo is bigger than I want for my HTPC, but definitely maintains cooler temps. Suppose it has a fan in front though for airflow. Good review IMO.
Love the video, and surprisingly the advert, which was highly creative and original. On the other hand not the biggest fan of the case. As a tiny PC it does tickle my fancy far more than a midtower, but sitting on the thermal limit for the graphics card isn't great, especially because most non-reference cards have higher wattages, so will be worse affected even if they are blowers by design. Also if you're going to go with the vertical layout (which I think you should if you have a decent GPU for the sake of temperatures), the wider foot cause effective desk space needed to not much less than the much larger internally RVZ02 (only 50mm longer). The optional carry case likewise seems a little flawed, since while the PC goes in it fine, it doesn't fit a decent monitor, somewhat defeating the purpose. Finally the choice of steel with socket heads, as noted in the video this makes the case not only heavy but slow to work on and can be very rough on the surface of desks etc. I think aluminum with threaded inserts and countersunk screw heads is honestly worthwhile at this price, since it's mostly a labor not material cost and it avoids needing to tap the chassis, so price gains would be minimal, as would panel bending on a box so small with so many fasteners. The only downside is it wouldn't be much faster, just neater, lighter and less likely to damage your things.
What about the Sugo 13?. Silverstone has made a great gob utilizing 11 liters of space. And I think it's more efficient than the node after building in both cases, even though it comes with some quirks (nothing major considering the price)
I really like this case. On the subject of how much time it took you to remove the side panel: what difference does that make? How often are you going to be taking that off once the system is complete? Also, it's too expensive for what it is! lol
ads are quick and interesting and thats something i value in your videos. : ) Also the videos are filled with eye candy!
This may be the only channel that I legitimately enjoy watching the sponsor adds for.

Czekaj czekaj, HardwareCanucks to Polacy?
Props for putting a complete summary of company/manufacturer involvement in your description.
Wooooow, that ad looked sooo sick :D well done !
Amazing to actually hear someone pronounce niche correctly. It's so rare!!!
yes! I've been backing this case for two years now!!!!! :D
andnddd.... its $200. even with backing?!
well its made by two dudes. not a big company with Chinese relations and really thin steel etc. its pretty quality. we're used to everything being made by machines or under VERY cheap labor. (like less than $1/hr) where people in developed countries demand at elast $10-$20/hr

I know, I'm just butt hurt.
I've been supporting these guys from the beginning
7 liters?? That's incredible... For a compact mini ITX case this is king.
It's a very nice looking case. You could also check out the NFC System S4 Mini - which is around a 4L mini-itx.
***** holy moly that's amazing... How is that even possible haha thanks for letting me know about that.

Made in Poland!!!! Yay finally a beautiful and practical piece of technology from my country!!!!
I know a Polish word as well! Starts with "K", ends with "urwa".

The advertisments on your videos are extremely well done.
Really slick case and review.
Thanks man :)
EposVox I love your videos I see u everywhere I go!!
Your little commercial with the painting was an awesome way to do it deserves a like just for that😁
+TheChozenOne thanks it was a fun project!
just needs dust filters and white powered coated steel and they have themselves a new buyer!
Aeronomx Portal Turret?
You're in luck, they have a white version planned out too, it's just that they ran the first reviewer prototypes all in black and will offer both options when they go up for sale.
Sir Soysauce OMG!
Hmm?
Sir Soysauce The white one is sexy, I saw it.
really cool way to shoot the commercial love to see the creativity in something I usually zone out to
i like it!
I think this is review case day. This is the 6th review I've seen in my sub box on a case. And it's the only one to not be a fractal define mini C case.

HardwareCanucks well I'm glad :). Been missing ya
What LG monitor was that?
27UD68 or 27UD88

Reminds me of the NFC S4 itx case.
NFC S4 Mini has the best build quality in my book. Small and stylish too.
Just wish Josh could make more of them...

Sorry for this dumb question, but is this case SSD only? Like can you only put ssds and not hdds?
It can only support 2.5" drives. There are 2.5" spinning Hard Drives, but SSDs are better since they will be quieter, cooler & of course much faster.
You can put 2 2.5" drives inbetween the mobo/PSU and the GPU, but they have to be 9.5mm thick. There's also a bracket to mount more 2.5" drives next to the GPU if you use an ITX size graphics card.
this case is deep price already, dont expect whoever buys this will go HDD
patiently waiting for this case.
Ogel well, it's simple of taste. Personnally I prefer sentry or nfc s4 mini style, rather than dan a4 case..:)
Ogel A4 Sfx is ~$300 and it's smaller
Aluminium has the disadvantage of needing to be thicker than equivalent strength steel and being easier to scratch (with anodisation).
Hey Marc! How's that Nano working out? Are you still using it in your S4?
Hans Tang hi! Yes r9 nano was working very well in s4 mini especially with front mesh design..:) But now I fell in love of msi gaming x cooler ( cool and quiet) so I'm updating my gaming setups in that way.. :) I'm aiming at compromise compact/easy assembly maintenance/ noise / cooling/ sfx psu . s4 mini will remain my mobility, cooling and style king (noise and pico psu were the issues from my personal point of view)..:)
really liked where the ad was going. blends in very nice with the video somehow.. you have a new sub ;) oh and the review was on point too btw ;p
Is there any reason now to not get a PC.
Plenty.
Einareen Nope, literally none
Caleb Louwskitter uhmmm. Having no money at all?
Aha well, let's be fair, this case costs the same/more than a lot of gamer's GPUs.
No moniter, desk ( or any peripherals), not enough money for the short term....
Unboxing a box.... why am I so excited lmao. This thing is awesome
I like the wallpaper please give us a link? great case thou..

price? only if there's magnetic dust filters
Get some aftermarket ones or from Silverstone
www.silverstonetek.com/product.php?pid=316 about 10 USD each :)
Yes! I think I'll definitely be doing a living room build in one of these.
Dimitry, Can you provide me with a link to that awesome looking wallpaper?
Have you even read my question? I am asking for a link to the wallpaper he is using.. Not the the case itself.
Seems like this one: kanttii.deviantart.com/art/Abstract-4K-Wallpaper-576699442
Manuel Laug Great! How did you find it tho?
Take a Screenshot of the video, crop to the wallpaper and use the Google image search with the file ;)
Thank you for sharing it!
I like the unboxing, and the relaxed feel.
i need that wallpaper of yours

Thank you Manuel Laug! :)
My tn monitor makes it look like sh*t....
best SENTRY ITX case build video ever!
Id get the Node 202 over this one every day of the week.
Can't wait to get my hands on this case. But for now I got the Node 202 that I just bought yesterday.
a console size pc is nice
Nice Case! to bad of the waiting time. I just orderd Silverstone RVZ02 for my next build.
This just cost too much, $195, come on.
Rad Dreamer Dan a4 SFX says higher
This is a typical price for cases like this. see also ncase m1.
Yea, I spent $215 on an Ncase M1, which is a pretty similar deal. No regrets.
I would buy this really nice if they could get it smaller even better
because not a lot of people will get it, it's not even mass produced
and here i was thinking to get a node 202... i better wait a couple more monts. holly hell what a beautiful case.
Can somebody tell me the name of the wallpaper?

I don't know what camera Linus uses but your camera and videography skills is significantly better in my opinion props to you my friend! ps great review mate!
Don't care about the price, but for a gaming PC I need better cooling performance and built in dusk filters.
Bravo Sentry. Nice case for what it is. Great review Dmitry. Thanks .
I wish I went to LAN parties.... 😢😥😢

JCTiggs i would go micro-atx when the computer case and motherboard market is ready to show us something new. Until then mid-tower is the meta.
I went Full Tower, MiniITX (Cube) now this. I'm often on the move and this just made sense for me. Still fits R7 Ryzen CPU and a 1070 GTX.
If I had that case I'd name it Hal. Cause y'know.
I think its quite elegant and it looks great on top of the desk.
That being said, I'm quite happy with my spacious mid-tower Graphite 600T. All of the room in the world, and it runs so much cooler, and with the stock 200mm intake and exhaust fans and a 120mm push-pull all-in-one cooler I have these temps:
i7 4790K
Idle: 30°C
Load: 57°C
EVGA GTX 970 SSC
Idle: 36°C
Load: 53°C
"This case is not designed for extreme systems"... o rly? you can put a titan xp and a xeon in there, is that not extreme?
***** yes, but a titan xp is akin to 3 980s, I'd call that quite extreme
LukeyPook you can't fit any 6-12 core processors in there
Good luck cooling a 140W chip with that much cooler clearance.
How do you even cool the xeon inside that case?
Avalon Joshua You might be surprised how much heat a solid block of milled copper with a vapor chamber can dissipate! There's actually a number of 140 Watt rated low profile heat sinks intended to fit in 1U or 2U server racks, which are even thinner than this case.

Looks like an amazing case - I'd upgrade from my Full ATX case to a smaller SFF PC. I never used SLI, PCIe SSDs, dedicated NICs or capture cards.
this looks like a copy of the NFC s4 mini that's been out for almost a year now
I think that case is like 5 liters. It doesn't have room for a SFX PSU.
TheyCallMeMidnight the NFC is a great alternative but they dont do full size video card. A external power supply?
TheyCallMeMidnight I believe Dr Zaber had been working on this even before Josh announced the Mini version of the s4
I just liked this video for this amazing ad/"productplacement".
i knew a polish word : KURWA !
Amazing review Dimitri! Polish man approved (that's me)
Thanks :D
HardwareCanucks also congratulations on the new studio, its been quite a journey, been here ever since you shit videos in he balcony table. Keep up the amazing work, hope you get a million soon, you really deserve it !
as a fellow pole i approve too
what is the keyboard on the desk in this video?
Welp. cant put 212 Evo in it.
"Unlike your mom" - 12 year old me, if he were here.
You kiss your mother with that mouth?
+Thread212 Yes , yes he does..
Such a beautiful build
the case cost more then my gpu ! whatafuckingfuck
it's okay you couldn't put higher priced performance parts in anyway. haha
DevTheBigManUno i think that this case is from apple :p
see niche market. if you want in, you gotta pay.
this is so sad :(
mITX markets are very small. This is a community driven project too so it's not like they're working with or can afford the resources large companies have. Give it time and another option will be available for cheaper.
You should put sound padding up over all the walls. not only does it look cool, it'll give you even better sound quality in the new studio!
New studio has a carpet, shorter ceilings so no echo here :D YESSSS!
HardwareCanucks yeehaww. can't wait to see more of the studio when its complete!
took them 2 years to develop a case, smh the world is truly getting dumber
Jarad Shaw Please. It took Silverstone 2 years to develop the RVZ01 and their company is 1000x the size of this
R&D isn't simple you fuck, I'd like to see you run a fucking company
I've been waiting for weeks! Thanks :)
This is not worth $200. Not even close...
Yeah maybe $100.
When you don't have any competition you can set any price you want.
Community driven project, no large scale manufacturing dictates the increased price.
Your right, too expensive !!! I bought the SilverStone RVZ02 ^^
Mathboy There's plenty of competition.
Excellent and very comprehensive. Subbed!
This is an overpriced meh. Just go with the Node 202.
Xathos This is much smaller.
where is the price mentioned?
NO! The Node 202 is too big...
The Node 202 is much bigger and mostly plastic. Meh.
it is handcrafted as Dimitri said,it is bend under human operation, that's within why the price is so high
Impressive ! and great vid again man , well done sir .
to be honest if you really need something this for portability just buy a gaming laptop
CaradenM What if I want GTX 1080 and i7-5930K performance but still portable. I can't just buy a gaming laptop.
ThierryTheuns good luck fitting a 1080 in there, let alone properly cooling it
ThierryTheuns Razerblade pro would be similar. CPU less powerful but meh
CaradenM Okay, make it a 1070. Still, no laptop will come even close. Maybe one of those beasts with desktop CPU and GPU that cost north of $4000, but any normally priced laptop won't.
MERCENARY Maybe you should go look into the performance difference in Desktop GPUs vs Mobile GPUs.
Niesamowita recenzja Dmitri! :D
I'll be sticking with my RVZ02 since it's made for taller cards with open fan coolers and taller CPU coolers.
Few scythe coolers would fit there for sure. As for the gpu - 1050ti is awesome for such small case since its low on power consumption and a very cold card.
DEFINITELY picking one up.
yesterday I build a Pc for my friend in a Node 202, now he has a i5 6500, 16GB RAM, a GTX 1060 6GB, a 500GB SSD, a 1,5TB HDD all on a Gigabyte b150 Phoenix
His old Pc had a Core2 Duo E8500, a GTX 650 1GB, 4GB RAM, a 500GB HDD and was just so slow ... now he can play every Game and his Desk has much more Space :)
I myself own a Define R5, but now I'm a Little Bit jealous when i See his ITX Pc :D
I saw the price and said WHAT! so loud that my wife gave birth and my baby girl said WHAT! as for her 1st word
*loud
you clearly don't realize the effort put in this case. and as he mentioned in the video its production process is not fully automatic and it's bend by workers. it's a reasonable price for such a case in my opinion
Benny Pete Idol you clearly didn't get the joke.
Benny Pete Idol where in the video does he state that these are being done by workers manually instead of machines?
i share your concern about dust... after NEVER cleaning my PC after 6 years of owning 2 birds who's cages were right above the PC... the dist in there was frightening... i have started to filter my intakes because my PC looked like a chickens lived in it. and also my bird is much farther away lol
I think it is nice. GPU temps are higher though. My 11.5L Sugo is bigger than I want for my HTPC, but definitely maintains cooler temps. Suppose it has a fan in front though for airflow. Good review IMO.
Pozdrowienia z Polski, świetne filmy - Greetings from Poland, awesome videos :D
11 minutes no payroll ads
My fucking hero
What awesome wallpaper is that on the monitor?
What about the Sugo 13?. Silverstone has made a great gob utilizing 11 liters of space. And I think it's more efficient than the node after building in both cases, even though it comes with some quirks (nothing major considering the price)
Totally agree about the plastic bags lol I have a collection of them.
This would be an amazing travel PC
I enjoy the business terminology

HardwareCanucks : **OMG THIS BAG**
Great review to a great case. Now the real question is can I slap in a GTX 1080 with an i7 processor with no issues?
Very nice for Hackintosh too!
I really like this case. On the subject of how much time it took you to remove the side panel: what difference does that make? How often are you going to be taking that off once the system is complete? Also, it's too expensive for what it is! lol
Why no use flex cables for the psu in the review? Overall it seems good, but they have a year for make it even better.
this is the channel for cases
