I’m actually in the process of making a ghost face tote bag!! I did a checker pattern for the back panel. All I have left is to finish and sew on the strap :))
Update: I finished it earlier this week and it turned out great!! I used a graph from bracelet book, so I’ll probably post my results there :)

Thank you for all these great ideas. I have a craft fair coming up on Oct. 21st and I have literally not mad a thing yet. I was going to make sewn items, but am just not feeling it. So I think I will be crocheting things instead. But what to make? They will have to be small, so I can make many things quickly, since I've waited so long1 Thanks again. i can see the cottagecore influence with all the granny squares and the mushrooms!
