- In this episode of "What Is On My Wrist " Cam talks about a 1966 Omega Seamaster 300 Ref. 165.024. There is something about the early vintage Omega Seamasters that truly embodies the golden era of dive watches of the 1960-1970s. Cam takes us through this cool example from 1966 and provides a brief overview of the vintage Omega Seamaster 300 reference range!

My favorite channel man! Intro music makes me feel so good, just knowing that Cam is gonna show us an awesome watch. Awesome work guys, by far my favorite video’s online!! Thanks a million times
Glad you are enjoying them Ben! we have some real treats in store that will be posted within the next few weeks!
This is the watch I’d like to see reissued. Such a great design. No nonsense tool watch.

They did in a weird way ;)
I absolutely adore this channel, and Cam looks awesome with that hat! Love this beautiful Seamaster 300. Vintage is the way to go baby!!!
Such a classic piece! It's a perfect blend of aesthetics and functionality (though the latter isn't what it was after 50 years) 😜
I just bought an 166.024 just an amazing watch!!
This is my favourite watch-related youtube channel alongside T&H, yet it only has 3K subs. I’m sure you’ll blow up soon.
Great piece and to the point review - wearing a 1963 165024 right now. 911 in the intro nice too 😃
Looks perfect on your wrist even on 42mm....
Another great video of a very underrated sports Omega.
Glad you enjoyed it!!
Totally love these.
Us Too :)
Thanks man 👍
pretty cool. love the dual pencil hand variant, even if its less legible. love these old omegas
Me Too like the gladiator hand variants more on teh big triangles
Beautiful honest patina on the tritium👌🏻 I was also about to comment on the watch retaining it’s original crown because until now I believed the fatter crowns were service replacement parts, I didn’t realise the fatter crowns were original equipment on the latter models, they just protrude too far out and ruin the aesthetic in my opinion.
Thanks Cam, that hat is on point!
Cheers mate
the bigger crowns were a MOD request to aid in extended water resistance... Rolex also had screw-down crowns but like you I much rather prefer the smaller flatter crowns!
So nice 😍
Fire! Keep wearing the hat my man.
Odessa gangsta chic! 👍🏼 I found a Watchco one a few years ago, half the price of an original and solid as a rock, although you always know it’s not of the time.
WatchCo's are super cool we have had a few of them pass through the shop... it would be cool if Omega made them right!
awaiting the upcoming " Seamaster Only " book...
That makes two of us for sure!!!
Great video. I have a question. Do you know where i could possibly find a
second hand, for a1966 Omega Seamaster 300? Unfortunately during a
service in the 80' without my knowledge, the second hand was swapped out
for a non original one. Don't know if this was done deliberately, or
the guy broke the original, and swapped it out hoping we didn't notice.
Thanks for your help.
Ebay is an ok place to look and you may be able to find one on Chrono24 in the parts section!
I have an original vintage one for sale.
this guy is the most stereotypical hipster he wears a ridiculous hat, retro glasses, talks way too much about coffee.... but he knows a lot about watches so I love it
Could you please help me find vintage hands for this watch. I have the same watch but with newer replacement hands.
Sure shoot us an email info@craftandtailored.com
Are you wearing the hat for a bet, ???? Lol...
hehe Nah im wearing it inside to piss a bunch of people off 😉
