I don't know how they did it, but the United States Marine Corp has made being yelled at, doing pt 24/7, and eating MRE's instead of real food look like the most fun thing to do with your life.
That feeling when you came from extreme poverty and actually thought the MREs were incredible when you were in. Fiesta Chicken with Vegetable Crackers and Jalapeno Cheese, you'll always have a special place in my heart. You can keep the Ham Slices and Four Fingers of Death (AKA) Beef Frankfurters though.
@@Ranstone how many months or years can you get out of the USMC and still get in? Like you finally understand that civilian lofe is not for you and you want to re-enlist in US?
I love how they try to make it like one of those UA-cam cooking tutorials. Just be yourselves, and do it the marine way. But you get an A for effort, that's for sure.
I actually used these on hiking trips. MREs are really filling for being such small packs. The food is actually pretty good too, even if a little off putting at first
Going to the Navy soon as an AG and wanted to try one of these, so I ordered one online and idk if it was inaccurate or something but it honestly tasted really good. But that might also be because all I eat is bland chicken breast, water, vegetables, and protein whey every day.
They should include a laxative pill in there. My training officer in OEM warned me about MREs. As a former soldier, he told me "If you eat those things too often, you won't s**t for a week!" I guess the key is to stay hydrated.
Super fun activity: put your whole sections MRE's into their activated heater packs. use a trash bag (dont let it touch the MREs as it will melt. it takes some screwing around with rocks and sticks but its worth it) to capture the steam released. I'm no chemist so i have no idea why this steam is flammable, but it is. You now have a big ole explody balloon. Enjoy!
“ get made fun of for using the heater, BOOT!!” Hahahaha 😂😂😂 good shit devil! I can count on one hand the times I actually had the time to heat up a MRE hahaha Weapon, gear, self... Best advice my senior ever gave... Semper fi gentz!
Toss them Charms! NOW!!! Also you can put your cheese spread in with the meal cooking so you can have molten cheese dumped into your pouch. Jalapeño cheddar with jambalaya is my favorite.
that is such a bad idea, ahh, each one of those bread snacks is like half a loaf of bread. my one if my sgts tried that and he had stomach pains for the entire field training exercise.
You just call me a boot? I’m telling SgtMaj!!! That’s is how the new Corps is. Remember the days of getting hazed all night by a drunk senior Lcpl? That was a fun time boot camp, SOI didn’t have crap on the pain and stress caused in the fleet.
And... *Dont forget to hydrate*

Lifesaving Socialist Cookie-Baker from the Alps and the standard issue pistols!!!!
It's because you forgot to hydrate
Lifesaving Cookie-Baker from the Alps they had crayons but couldn’t wait to film the video. Got eaten before the camera stared rolling
YOU TRADED PEANUT BUTTER AND APPLE JELLY FOR CHEESE SPREAD???
HyruleLink22 hey! cheese spread is the best thing about MREs!
Stone Dorame I personally like the peanut butter if you can get the chocolate peanut butter you're king of the mre trade
i prefer ghe jalapeño cheese spread, add some spice to the shitter
Stone Dorame Corpsman up!
😂❤️. 🇺🇸💜🇺🇸
Is this buzzfeed or marines?
lol
Justaburgscuzzin thats the joke lol
its both
Yes, Buzzfeed with a side of democracy
marinefeed. Feeding marines. Agagagaga

Felt like Buzzfeed made this video
I think this is a parody of those types of videos.
Buzzfeed are liberals, they would think MRE is a weapon.
xGodspeedz to be honest, the frail bodies of buzzfeed writers probably wouldn't be able to withstand the impact of a thrown MRE
Clorox Bleach it triggers them

MRE = "Meals for Racial Extreamists" or was it "Murderous Republican Entrepreneurs"?
-Buzzfeed probably.
Makes me want to pass-up the turkey and eat an MRE.

I think it was Satire and the music was the tip off..
The Frosty One it's a joke
should show chow hall food instead, MRE's are actually nicer when compared to that....

Chow hall food and quantity of it is better than the shit I eat at home

The dollar store ones though.

Marines never steal, they "tactically acquire" 😂

Where's the crayons?
no tabasco sauce? Wrong!

Depends on the MRE though. Chicken burrito bowl is life, but we dont talk about creamy spinnach fettucine.

USMC: "Tactically acquire a rock"
For those wondering, "tactically acquire" means steal or obtain creatively.
I appreciate the humor in this

Buzzfeed called, they want their video style back.
Now in the Old Corps in VM there were rations left.over from 1955.
Makes K-Rations from my day (mid 1970's) look good. And, what no little box of a few cigarettes?
Raise your hand if you could use the heater in basic (I’m army but this question of for all branches) I couldn’t use it
What's the item that they said "Save this! you'll need in a week?"
You get barbeque sauce now? When I was in, you either got cheese or peanut butter and Tabasco Sauce. Only POGs would have time to use the heater, lol
Shit is honestly fine cold, had that one during the crucible, wasn’t complaining, used the heaters to keep warm, not cook
So where is the box of crayons?
Still better than public school lunch.

You have to squeeze the packets before you open them or they separate like that.
