That looked like fun. I've always meant to transcribe that myself or try to find a copy. I think you did a great job and were having fun...that's what counts.
As a beginner a good rental from a local music store is a good place to start. Really as long as you don't end up with a cheap Chinese trumpet you'll have a good starting point. If however you prefer to buy I recommend Getzen's student or intermediate horns, Capri and Eterna respectively. They are a great value and good playing horns. The Eterna in particular could serve you as long as you want to play, it's a great instrument!
@Fwlr2004 Yamaha has also verry good standard trumpets. I have a Yamaha Xeno trumpet and a Getzen Capri cornet, and a B&H cornet (an old but verry good cornet with a verry smooth sound) i love them both =D
We made a hobby out of buying, fixing, and selling old horns. We ended up doing very well and making money on 95+% of them so that has been going on for about 8 years and every so often there's enough profit to buy a keeper horn in addition to the project stuff.
Assuming it's in good working order. The most important thing when looking for a beginner horn is to look for a horn made by a reputable brand and not to spend a lot of money. 200 for a used Bach, likely a TR200, is a good deal if it is in good condition. The instrument won't hold you back and by the time you outgrow it you'll know whether you want to persue music enough to invest in a better instrument.
yeah man i watched alot of your vids and mad props to you for playing that classical stuff too man....

Thanks, it's an old Sony DSC-W5, I bought it just to take digital stills on trips but later realized it could take video too.
