I‘m gonna make a flatbed and autorack car to go along with it
Great effort! Does anyone know where to find the small n20 6v motors? I can't find anything small enough on Amazon.

Link is not working for me
@@pseudotsuga20 I have updated the links
I was really looking forward to seeing this project reach a working state, sad to see the creator jumped ship already.
We are currently working on the next batch of Train
3d printing yaay
Hello bro...good job and I appreciate your effort...what kind of 3d printer are you using? Is it filamen or resin?
All parts are printed with FDM printer using PLA Filament
@@RamBrosWorkshop Which model good for railway project? Ender 3 v2 is big enough in terms of dimensions? Actually I just decided to buy a 3d printer for home but need an advice to narrow my selection
@@rosmizalibrahim9160 I have ender 3 V2 and these designs are made to fit ender 3 bed.
@@aravindshreyas3571 thanks bro...really appreciated your help
Amazing details. I really want to get into this open source project.
Can I scale this down to HO Scale ?
You would have to modify the design to print it in HO scale. The N20 motors are compatible only in S scale.
Wish I knew how to use a 3D printer, I would do the same as you but make a G scale Triplex
Using a 3d printer has become easier than ever before
What Gauge are these HO?
It is S scale gauge 22.5mm
im gonna 3d print ur f unit and make it larger so its g scale (1:22.5)
1/64 scale seems odd when there are existing scales that have existed for decades. Why not choose one of those instead?
Two primary reasons: His original HO scale attempts were unstable and lacked detail on FDM printers, and S gauge (American Flyer still makes gear in this scale BTW) allowed for the N20 motors to fit inside the bogeys, which is pretty nice.
Edit to add: S gauge (1:64 scale) is the same as common diecast toy cars (Hot Wheels), so you have super easy access to realistic models that way for cheap.
You could just rescale the parts and get 1:32 G gauge out of it with some modification.
What do you find odd on S-scale? It has existed since 1896, e.g. 128 years, while HO scale was used for the first time in 1922.
