You have to really listen to your body everyone. Don't neglect your warmups, mobility, and stretches. Take days off! You don't get better in the gym, you only get better when you sleep.
Hi Gaby, as a 27-year old weightlifter with 10+ years of powerlifting and american football behind me, I completely recognize myself in your story. I never got truly injured over those years but since weightlifting a respective back and knee injury have held me back years. Now I'm on a journey to train more responsibly and take better care of my body into my 30s. Will definitely follow your journey along
Your dedication to weightlifting, powerlifting, and football over the last decade is truly impressive! I'm sorry to hear about the back and knee injuries but am thrilled to know that you are embracing a responsible approach to training now! let's stay healthy and pain-free!
I just started weightlifting 2 months ago, Im 24, watching your videos really helps a lot for my technique and warmups. I hope to learn more about this sport by expanding my knowledge from your videos.
The problem is for a tendon injuries to occur its more load related. Physical medicine can help you come back to training but diagnosis and prehab programmed from a sports physio or a sports medical professional could allways help you prevent such things. So opinion is your grit to carry on training is admirable but be smart about ur body. Listen to the red flags and treat and train for longevity. Anyway awesome content Gaby. Keep up the awesome work ❤
