Once again. Price and Warranty are IMHO 2 major factors. If a vehicle can fulfill your requirements and is significantly cheaper, then why not. This is similar to the early days of Kia and Hyundai. To begin with it was a gamble but then they both stepped up and are now a powerhouse in the automotive landscape. My first Kia didn't have an unlimited km 7 year warranty. My Haval does. Do the maths, explore the manufacturers credibility pre and post sale. You don't hear people complaining about an electronic device made in China which are cheap and reliable. The global manufacturing landscape has changed. You may not like that and that's your right. But you cannot escape it. Also any vehicle sold in Australia will have to comply with the relevant ANCAP rating and legislated design regulations.
Please don’t judge the build quality from the first production iteration (not even the second or the third).. this JAECOO J8 car was released for the first time just last year 2023, so it is a quite new model.. I still remember how horrible the build quality of Tesla EV cars was in 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, and 2016, but things have definitely improved afterwards.. I think the future 2027 edition of this JAECOO J8 car will start to have good build quality.. I wouldn’t like to be an early adopter of any new product!!
Illiya is spot on. I haven't seen "cocky shit" welding like that on anything since old Tata utes. Looks like a hunk of junk but still probably 10x better than a real Range Rover.
I sincerely thank you for translating the Russian video. My thanks also go to the mechanic who spoke about the car. It was one of my options, but after watching this video, I decided not to consider it anymore.
Thanks for the translation 😊
Glad to hear you liked it, thank you!

A great review!
Thought I was getting a review…would rather hear what the guy actually doing the work had to say
Why fake? They own 50% of company. Great cars for a normal price. We should be happy.
Panels galvanised or not?
I doubt it, but not sure to be honest

Wow... thank u, I was almost ordering the J6.......no wonder they are cheap
Nothing could be more unreliable than a real Landrover product all heaps of garbage designed to fail early ..
Heard a lot of bad things about Range Rovers specifically
Death boxes in other words…..
You get what you pay for, buy MADE IN JAPAN.
