I thought that sediment down low may be radioactive ☢️?

I hope it's true. One thing, much better to release the water in winter.
But all the spiny rays are going down the river. Not a good idea.

@@thehornetsnestforge1269 any of the fishes like bass, perch, cappie, catfish, sunfish.
Those fish target and eat small fish. Once the Klamath is flooded with these fish they will propagate and establish themselves in the river.
Two years ago, I was catching perch in the upper Klamath in summer while fishing trout about 10 miles below I-5.
I later found out, extra water was being released from Iron Gate, more so than usual.
These fish had been dumped in from the lake and that lake is full of them.

@@jesse75 the bullhead catfish are native fish just bigger because of the reservoir . The bluegill/sunfish are already in the river but cold weather keeps them from overpopulating . The bass can't survive in the Klamath normal flow during the winter or they would already be here and same with crappie . There's a reason they are only in the deep hot water behind the damn and not all over

Centrarchids won't survive in the river. They did ok in the warm eutrophic water behind the dams, but they won't last in the river.

Slowly is that about 2 weeks. They just pulled the plug and let her go.
The Klamath River is a toxic sewer now.
