Great to see you back! Really missed these great videos and Seiko updates from the Asian AD's. Back in Aug 2016 you got me back in the "collecting" after twenty years absence. I got the Seiko SUN065 PADI Kinetic. Still one of my favorites.
Wow! Well put together with great photography and time to check out the pieces- well done 👍 I just put a black lumed ceramic bezel insert (from LCBI) on my PADI Samurai and the damned thing looks absolutely amazing!
Missed your videos man! Big fan of your videos! Immediately pressed play when I saw your new video on my notifications. I have this new Zimbe Samurai version. I agree with you that the old version was just too similar to the regular line. On the new one, the dial and hands are similar to the 50th anniversary Sumo that is also quite rare (i think the design is unique to these two watches). The other impressive thing with this one is that even bracelet has the same "honing" finish as the case and it also has the extra grey rubber strap from the first zimbe turtle (again i think it's unique to these two watches). Looking forward to watching your next video!

Agreed, love the footage of the exotic locales you travel to. Your voice is amazing, btw. Do you do voice overs, or audio books? You easily have the voice for it.

Zimbe is the Anglicized pronunciation of the Japanese name for a whale shark. The difference with certain models can be materials and design. In some cases sapphire crystal and different finishes etc. Thanks so much for watching!😊🙏

Had original black samurai. Sadly the bracelet failed when cycling and it was gone. Solid watch,looked best in very think leather strap. Didn't like the transition from chapter ring to dial, there is this odd gap. Also didn't like the sharpness of the lugs, considered taking a Dremel to the edges more than a few times.

current pricing is around 600 USD without discounts or receiving the VAT back. I expect some in the secondary market to be slightly higher. look in some of the forums to see if anyone is selling preowned! great way to get a deal;) thanks for watching!
man, bkk seems so nice. and if it weren't for the god-damned motorbike noise, it might actually be like it seems in your intros. god that place would be so much better without those infernal 2-stroke bikes. it's made all the worse by how their noise ricochets around under the bts and the sides of the buildings. here's hoping for an electric bkk within no more than 10yrs :)
The application of the Lumen looks clumsy. Like someone used a small brush and painted it directly on to the watch face. The Shogun Titanium sbd029 on the other hand is the complete opposite. The Dial detail. is perfection. Absolutely destroys the Samurai in that area.

i see you have alligned your zimbe turtle chapter ring , base on the original unboxing video you have about it.
Wish this watch was a little big larger in diameter. I sport the PADI SUN 065, so Seiko Zimbe Samurai is quite smaller than the SUN 065.
Have all the Zimbe's except the first one. Started this hobby just after the SLA13 were not more available. Had to buy the German version. My favorit is the Shogun. Keep up the good works
