Hey Doodle! Fun stuff!!! I agree with you Inktense has very few light colors, I have wondered if it is because they are so bold when you activate them? Neo color 2 are fun to use! I have been following Jen on how she does her backgrounds with the Neo 2s!!! I hope you will enjoy them. The distressed inks are fun to play with! I hope you will enjoy them and I look forward to seeing what you do!! I got the same Harry Potter book too and I thought this on was so cute!!! Love seeing your hauls! I've been M.I.A. from the 'color tubies' for a bit.. too much time spent on 'legal tubies.' I'm a sucker for following lawyers and watching court cases. BUT What a lovely haul! I'm sooo happy you are in civilization and out of the desert ( although I think the AZ desert is gorgeous!) Can't wait to see what you do with the inks and drawing gum!! TFS!
Hi Karen!! Thank you. I am not on the color tube as much anymore either as I have been visiting other genres: political, Star Trek, and Zen / eastern philosophies. Yes the landscape is beautiful in an apocalyptic-way. But it has grown unbearably hot and dry and is running out of water. I like to read the trends and get out early... Yay! Lovely goodies, some great books in there. The good wives and warriors books, the newer books are on the whiter paper. ( Ive found the older stuff really yellows, so Im not sure which is better). Im still colouring on it, so far so good. Enjoy all your treats, x

@@doodlerobot42 Brand new? I’m so jealous! The seller was Thriftbooks but purchased through eBay…I paid $5 plus $23 shipping (to Canada, 😡) and it’s only in “good” condition! Crossing my fingers it’s okay. But isn’t it great? Thicker line work! I think that the only other book with line art like that is “Animals”. I love Mythographic, Joseph Catimbang is by far my fave.

Hi Sherry! I don't know that I would drive 50 miles just to go to Hobby Lobby. But, I would definitely stop in if I were in a town with one. I would also stop in Joann's too - if I were in a town with one. Like all the art stores, it is hit or miss. I have probably been in a Hobby Lobby 25-30 times, but I have only purchased stuff maybe 3-5 times. If you live far from such a store, Amazon is just as good. Or, you can order online from HL too (pretty sure). Amazon is usually cheaper and fairly easy to return stuff as well. Just say it was not as advertised, or works terribly, or damaged... And look for the returns guaranteed thingie... I wish there was a Blick store here though - that would be truly dangerous. But, again - DB online is way cheaper than in the store...

During the good weather months, I go to Medford Oregon to grocery shop and there are both Joann's and Hobby Lobby. I haven't been in them, and there's a Ross ( I have heard, they have Supplies too) I was more curious about them, than needing stuff. I did drive up there, to go to Michael's for some green Pencils, and they only had 10 open- stock Pencils. I was so bummed. They had a billion pieces of plastic flowers and decoration stuff. 🤨 But it was a Nice Drive and a Day away! I just did a big Amazon order, that finally be here on the 14 th, I ordered it on the first! ( No, I don't pay for prime, it used to take the same ridiculous 10 to 15 days for delivery) Thank You for offering to help me survive in the Sticks, lol!!! You're a Sweetheart! Love Ya, Sherry💜🫶
@@sherrydennewitz5011 Oh, I know!! When I lived in the middle of nowhere it took Amazon around 2weeks. Prime would usually have been 1-2 days less?? Why bother. I don't have prime either, nor will I be getting it... Seems kind of scammy, as I am not interested in the perks that come with it. I feel your pain. 🙄
