making this video will feel weird for a week, maybe for a month, but for me the video last year made me so free again... it is just wonderful... we all started because of the fun and joy of painting, and keeping the fun and joy until the last day is the biggest struggle, artists have to go through... because the world around with all the responsibilities always attacks the fun and joy... especially when you got kids, and you know how many I have... hahaha... You got my unlimited support my friend! This was a good decision!

This may not appease the YT algorithms nor pull in new subs, I'd be happy to simply watch you and Doke paint. Idk how well the Doke's Raw series worked but I enjoyed it. If y'all simply posted videos of you working on your art I'd still watch. I'm here for y'all and your art, not the fancy video editing.

I did the same with my commisioned pieces a few years ago. I used to paint anything and everything, letting go of that felt really good and kept painting fun for me all these years. Now I only paint commissioned work if it is my own style, and that feels great! Maybe just go back to painting pieces for a while Doke 😀💥💥

Hey Doke, when i was about 11 years old [15 now] i used to watch you all the time and try to make your pieces on paper, my best piece was probably your "RUSH" in some bright colors. I remember recreating it at christmas dinner when i asked my Polish grandma for sharpies lmao. Thank you for making my childhood more um, interesting as i shouldn't call going in abandoned buildings at the age of 11 a good idea. I stopped watching you about when you stopped doing I try series, but this past month I started doing a couple throwies [with 2 euro shitty spray cans haha] and watched back some of my favourite videos you have. Hey Doke! A (usually) silent viewer here. I'm not really into Art and I can paint like a toddler. But your videos especially the Murals showed me how Art can make even the most ugly places beautiful and I now appreciate the paintings I encounter in my city a lot more. This is nothing one can buy. Not many people have the passion, talent, and skills to really make this world a more colorful place. So thank you :)
If there will be more videos I will be happy to watch them, if not I'll be happy as well knowing that you do what you really want, not what you feel like you must.

It's hard to change what you've done for a decade.. but your obviously ready for a change and you know what direction you want to go.. you can go more bob Ross style and show live paintings once in a while for what your working on and people can follow if they wish but finding your own process in it first before you start recording or going live again so you know what you need to enjoy the process without feedback.. whatever you choose thank you so much for all the years of knowledge, inspiration, and humor.. and you won't be quitting, just going on a more successful path that can always loop around to destinations you've enjoyed along the way.. also try blacklight paints or glow paints a few times they are fun and adds a new way for your brain to work with color.. enjoy your adventures we will surly be on the lookout for future doke creativity

Love it... I don't even have 1000 subs and as an artist I already feel the same way. I came to the conclusion long ago that I should just make art that I enjoy, focus on getting better and don't let the algorithm or trends dictate what I make or how often I upload. This video and Smoe's go a long way in helping solidify that decision. I hope I can continue to grow as an artist and I think this type of direction you are taking and the fact that you are sharing it with us is wonderfully refreshing. Doke, I love what you do, but honestly, this is the Doke for whom I've been waiting. The one pushing himself to evolve as an artist and in seeing what you're doing on canvas, I think you're doing exactly the right thing. Just be the artist you want to be, evolve the way you're inspired to evolve and if you'd like...share it with us! I believe it's a natural progression for an artist to experiment, find their niche/passion and fine tune their craft. Smoe did it, Kiptoe did it, Slew did it, TenHundred did it. You can do it, my friend! Those that truly appreciate YOU...and truly appreciate art, will continue to support you (myself being just one). Can't wait to see what you have in store!

Hey Doke, it's amazing you are open to your audience about your feelings towards UA-cam as a career. Having to put so much effort into keeping up with the UA-cam algorithm can understandably be draining. Ultimately what matters most is that you feel what you are doing has purpose, such as building on your skills as an artist. At the same time considering how you can implement what you enjoy onto UA-cam will require a change of pace as you mentioned. So I would say to not be afraid and experiment. You will have people who will support you for your aspirations and yourself as an artist and others who are there to watch whatever is the newest trend. Keep heading in the direction you feel will develop yourself into the best artist you can be, you'll be happier and your artwork will reflect that. Weather you quit UA-cam or not I am excited to see the future of your art and content whichever platform or however frequent that may be.

It’s really sad in what direction all the social medias are going right now. But you don’t need to fold, you can still be you and have decent clicks. Changing and rethinking something isn’t bad, it opens doors and especially in your case it’s needed.

Počúvaj ma sem brácho. Tvoja tvorba je doslova INSANE a nechcem, aby si skončil (a myslím, že ani nie som sám :) ). V mojom prípade mi ide o to vidieť kvalitný art. A to sa u teba ozaj dá nájsť. Ak by ti to pomohlo v príprave a celkove v behu kanála (narážam teraz na to, že ti to zaberá veľa času), kľudne vydaj 1 video za mesiac (napr. čo bol nejaký peak tvojej tvorby) - ja by som to ocenil, proste iba nejaké info ako sa darí tebe alebo tvojej tvorbe. Nemuselo by to byť ani extra prepracované - jednoducho video o tom, ako tvoríš. Good luck ešte :))))

That‘s amazing my friend. I just love the art and it‘s not about just doing these crazy things all the time. I think a lot of people in the social media world lost a bit of their reality and everything just have to get bigger and more expensive. Doke, do your thing brother not sure how long exactly but I’ve been here following the journey, always popped in and out since I was a kid to see how the channel is doing and to see over 1m is amazing, but I’m not here to fanboy haha, you know this already but Art is a true form of expression and feeling, if you wanna do canvas then you do canvas, the best pieces come from effortlessness, you can make a good piece but not be happy yourself and that’s not art to me, so do what you gotta do, change whatever you feel the need to, there’s many factors that play into it but art is serenity, keep up your work man and hope you find more things which balance your mind as you carry on doing art as your profession in life look forward to seeing future content 🤙🏻
