So proud of Merrill. He has the Tenacity and fire that we need to compete. I wish our Vets had the same hunger - they’ve gotten way too comfortable. Great interview 😎

Jackson Merrill Is the Real Deal!! He's 21 going on 41! He sounds and speaks like a 10 year MLB veteran. So far he has been outstanding in centerfold, with the bat and on the base paths. 2024 NL Rookie of the Year ,

What kind of team is this? Its an inconsistent team they can show how great they can be one day and forget how great they can be the next day.

The pitching is not what it was a year ago. Look it team era been bottom 15 all season. Last year they led the league. Hitting is much improved, they have time to figure it out still. The mid relief has been a roller coaster

@@CodesmagodessWhy is the offense inconsistent this season though? It’s maddening. When pitching is on point the offense averages 2 runs per game for week long stretches.

@@jdsthird baseball is hard. Putting a pitch in play can be the hardest thing. But their collective approach is better, they work counts. And don’t strikeout nearly as much as last season. But a big reason for the offensive skid is Manny.. him and Xander haven’t contributed much this season and we are almost half way there. The guys they’re using to fill in are doing as best as they can imo

@@Codesmagodess Nando just recently started contributing during the last two weeks. It’s everyone who was not playing up to their potential not just Manny. Just a few days ago Nando went 4 for 4 and we still lost the game. The team lacks consistency. During the previous 350 game span since August 2021 we played 6 games under .500 baseball. That’s a HUGE sample size and just demonstrates who and what this team has been for a very long time now. We are a .500 team at best. What will change it is to be determined. So far 4 different managers and multiple trades and signings haven’t changed the equation.

I’d really like to see them do less talking about what they will do and actually start doing it on a consistent basis. The reality is this has been a .500 team and the record shows it. Throw the ego and diva status out the window and just play competitive baseball. That’s all we ask.
