This drive follows Interstate 10 from Baton Rouge to New Orleans. Sure, it's quicker to take I-12 if you're just passing through, but I took the long way to see the city -- and I got there just as it was getting dark.

Me and my Boyfriend at the time hitched hiked up and down interstate ten for five years back in the nineties!!! It was a journey I will never, ever forget.. Met a lot of Beautiful people..It was safer back then

Notice all the idiots who are "parked" in the left lane. everyone else is doing 85 and having to weave around them. Louisiana has a left lane law, but it's never enforced. I used to make that frustrating drive every day.
