How is it that the best lyrics got taken out of this song and every song on her debut album? There was a lot of depth to the original lyrics. This is why I think speak now was the best era. She got to see what it was like to write songs without people telling her what to cut out and what needs to be altered. She had complete control over it all.
Well, long pond studio session is what you've been looking for 🤣 also on red (taylors version) there will be several demo recordings ;) as well there are a lot of edits on youtibe or even tour versions, so look those up ;)
Whenever you think Taylor is edgey or has changed, please listen to her new song New Year's Day. Some of you people might've been missing Taylor's "old" style since 1989 came out, and it's okay to miss a style from Taylor you grew up with but please don't think that your childhood is ruined or that Taylor has changed because she has not changed in character, nothing about her has changed expect her music style and lyrics . Even though many artists have changed their style and grown up , Taylor hasn't because she has always changed styles if anyone who's reading this who is a long time Taylor Swift fan should know this. Just because in her most recent song Look What You Made Me Do she says "the old Taylor is dead" doesn't really mean that country Taylor is dead, she just said that to get Kanye to understand what they made "her do" . Whenever you think Old Taylor is dead, listen to New Year's day. Thank you for reading .
I was that one person who was honestly disappointed when 1989 came out. I never blamed her tho. Just askin "why the hell would she turn to mainstream pop☹️☹️☹️" back then. It's 100% understandable for her to change her style from one era to another era bcs she needs it for her own survival in the industry. Now, who would've thought that we will get the rerecorded version of her 6 first albums including Taylor's country eras. I'm most excited for her Debut (Taylor's Version) bcs i'm really curious as to how she will rerecord this album bcs her voice, as far as i could say, is very different now. And which vault tracks will she put in Debut (TV)?
i think nathan did a great job in producing the track for taylor. with taylor's raw voice and the music, the emotion is very clear. well i meant the album version
Thank you for uploading this! Kinda hope she will put this acoustic demo version in Debut (TV) but i wouldn't put too much hope. I'm currently waiting for her Debut (Taylor's Version) im sooo excited for that
He said the way my blue eyes shined Put those Georgia stars to shame that night I said: "That's a lie." Just a boy in a Chevy truck That had a tendency of gettin' stuck On back roads at night And I was right there beside him all summer long And then the time we woke up to find that summer had gone But when you think "Tim McGraw" I hope you think my favorite song The one we danced to all night long The moon like a spotlight on the lake When you think happiness I hope you think "that little black dress" Think of my head on your chest And my old faded blue jeans When you think Tim McGraw I hope you think of me September saw a month of tears And thankin' God that you weren't here To see me like that But in a box beneath my bed Is a letter that you never read From three summers back It's hard not to find it all a little bitter sweet And lookin' back on all of that, it's nice to believe But when you think "Tim McGraw" I hope you think my favorite song The one we danced to all night long The moon like a spotlight on the lake When you think happiness I hope you think "that little black dress" Think of my head on your chest And my old faded blue jeans When you think Tim McGraw I hope you think of me And I'm back for the first time since then I'm standin' on your street And there's a letter left on your doorstep And the first thing that you'll read Is when you think "Tim McGraw" I hope you think my favorite song Someday you'll turn your radio on I hope it takes you back to that place When you think happiness I hope you think "that little black dress" Think of my head on your chest And my old faded blue jeans When you think Tim McGraw I hope you think of me Oh, think of me Mmm You said the way my blue eyes shined Put those Georgia stars to shame that night I said, "That's a lie."
2005 probably because Scott Borchetta said that in late 2005 Taylor showed him this song and then a couple months later they recorded it and published it
"cuz some trains you can't catch again, you gotta leave it as it was"
I would have loved that on the album version
Very sophisticated lyric and very deep

I love this. I wish they made music like this. Stripped, raw, unembellished. So poignant and beautiful in all its simplicity.

I read poignant as pregnant 🤰
You really can hear how she's trying really hard not to break down, this is lovely.
yeah her voice really shakes at the end.
She wasn’t trying not to breakdown at the end, it sounds normal to me.
I really hope that Taylor releases the original version One day because it’s just so amazing!!!!
I like this softer version of Tim McGraw by Taylor.
It is actually 2015 and still listening to this beautiful written song..... this song is a masterpiece

Really what she meant is the Taylor that was quiet and didn’t share her views so that way that Taylor is dead.

stop stop saying I miss this old taylor!! she still have the same heart...voice...face she just wanted to change
This version is beautiful (even if it is just the demo) she should have put this version on her debut album.
i think nathan did a great job in producing the track for taylor. with taylor's raw voice and the music, the emotion is very clear. well i meant the album version
Pure nostalgia❤

This could make it as Taylor’s Version. 🥰 All the more since Taylor is re-recording her albums, I imagine it could sound like this
This album was dropped 10 years ago today !!
15 years and a couple months now :)
@@isafan3almost 17 years come next month 🥲
This is beautiful. And it brings back all those memories...
2018 watching and crying over @taylorswift
I'm going to start crying it's so beautiful!
He said the way my blue eyes shined
Put those Georgia stars to shame that night
I said: "That's a lie."
Just a boy in a Chevy truck
That had a tendency of gettin' stuck
On back roads at night
And I was right there beside him all summer long
And then the time we woke up to find that summer had gone
But when you think "Tim McGraw"
I hope you think my favorite song
The one we danced to all night long
The moon like a spotlight on the lake
When you think happiness
I hope you think "that little black dress"
Think of my head on your chest
And my old faded blue jeans
When you think Tim McGraw
I hope you think of me
September saw a month of tears
And thankin' God that you weren't here
To see me like that
But in a box beneath my bed
Is a letter that you never read
From three summers back
It's hard not to find it all a little bitter sweet
And lookin' back on all of that, it's nice to believe
But when you think "Tim McGraw"
I hope you think my favorite song
The one we danced to all night long
The moon like a spotlight on the lake
When you think happiness
I hope you think "that little black dress"
Think of my head on your chest
And my old faded blue jeans
When you think Tim McGraw
I hope you think of me
And I'm back for the first time since then
I'm standin' on your street
And there's a letter left on your doorstep
And the first thing that you'll read
Is when you think "Tim McGraw"
I hope you think my favorite song
Someday you'll turn your radio on
I hope it takes you back to that place
When you think happiness
I hope you think "that little black dress"
Think of my head on your chest
And my old faded blue jeans
When you think Tim McGraw
I hope you think of me
Oh, think of me
Mmm
You said the way my blue eyes shined
Put those Georgia stars to shame that night
I said, "That's a lie."
I'm crying
sounds like an angel
She sounds great here.

One of my fav demos 🤍🤍 thanks for posting
I love this
In the bridge does she say “some trains” or “some dreams” ? Lyric site says trains but I thought she said dreams
I think it's 'trains' because of the words that follow "some trains you can't catch again."
Woah, the lyrics are slightly different.
omg this is amazing
