- An application of crank slider mechanism.
The pistons are connected to a green slider and the cylinders to opposite one. The cylinders can be connected to the rotary table in order to reduce pistons' displacement.
This chuck is used in tire mounting equipment.

Thank you so much, your animations are outstanding teaching tools!
Thang , You Sir have made my day , thank you very much
Punch Four Jaw Centering Chucks!

Glad I’m not the only one who noticed that
😂
Hi I am attempting to use a 4 jaw chuck mechanism for a project (I’m very much a beginner.) I had a different design but same premise. What stops the 4 jaws from just coming back out? Thanks.
The object to be clamped.
Otherwise, the cylinder cap will stops the yellow piston.
it looks like it's actually harder doing that than the mecanism of the industrial chucks

I saw this one in a motorcycle garage.
It gives a big range of clamping diameter but its centering accuracy is not high.
Hi, very nice system. The link you shared for STEP file is it thr right one?
Link to download the STEP files is the video description already:

Looks like machine used to put tires on rims. Or remove tires from rims.
Yes. Please read the video description:

In a real world environment , what happens to the cables/hoses when the whole assembly spins?

👍👍 ❤👍👍
this mechanism is going to be applied on what kind of machine ?
Please read the video description before asking.
@@thang010146 read it, didn't specifically say that it's going to be used for what, maybe relatable for those who are proficient/have some experience in machine or mechanical engineering not going to relate or help those who are not.
@@thang010146 still, you have a lot of interesting videos on mechanism of things, some I may imagine what are they going to be used for, some others, not so much
"This chuck is used in tire mounting equipment."
This is written in the video description.
I always show the application of the video mechanism if I know it.
If it's not in the video description, it means I don't know.
where can i get the dimensions sir? anyone?
Please read the video description.
Use CAD files of the video.
very nice job, I really need this type of mechanism for study work. is it possible to give me a link to run this mechanism on my software please .
This video was made in Autodesk Inventor.
Links to download Inventor or STEP files are in the video description.
Is it possible to give me the exact dimensions of each piece used to realize the mechanism in a homogeneous way ? please@@thang010146
Use the CAD files of this video to get dimensions of the parts..

the problem , so that I don't have Inventor , I have only creo . Is it possible ton convert Inventor files to Creo ?.
Thanks you !
2 out of 4 purple arms seems unnecessary.
No.
@@thang010146 I looked again. You are right.
